new coldplay is.....decent, i guess. gave it a few listens, probably won't ever listen to it again, save the songs "Paradise" and "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall." got a little tired and repetitive at the end, and sorta seemed like Martin was getting lazy and settling for the same voice projections again and again. probably their weakest effort to date, but still an above average album.

Peoples thoughts on Arcade Fire? I really enjoy their music. I actually haven't listened to Neon Bible, but Funeral and The Suburbs are very good albums, imo. I think I like Funeral the most though.

Arcade Fire are great. it was pretty cool to see Suburbs get so recognized. Funeral is my favorite, but i think they're all solid, ranging from good to fantastic (fantastic being Funeral)

Yeah Funeral is special. I know that the Grammy's doesn't mean as much these days but I was elated to hear The Suburbs got album of the year. Was hilarious hearing people complaining on FB, and saying "who are Arcade Fire?"

I'm not a fan of AF, they're alright, but I was so happy to see them get the Grammy and all the 14 year old Gaga fans bitching and complaining on FB and Twitter made it so much better. BURIED by actual talent.

Might wanna leave now. I see a good chance of it getting an AOTY nod, since this album is 10x superior to Fearless. And if not AOTY, I think it will scrap something in another category it will be nominated in.

I'm gonna dload Neon Bible today. I've read some people prefer it to Funeral. Whatever the case maybe, I'm sure I'm sure I'll like it.
