Re: Official Rock/Metal Discussion Thread
I used to like the song, then I started hear it about 4 times a day at work. Now I want to murder someone anytime I hear it.
The Weezer cover is really good though. A lot better than the original.

they were on the verge of being one of my alt rock favorites until Spectrum came out, and that just put them through the roof.

Yeah, I bought their entire library and so far I am not disappointed.

just heard the new coldplay. pretty decent album, worth a listen even if you're not a huge coldplay fan.

^ Word?
I think I'm almost certainly inducting the new A Lot Like Birds album into my next in a few days. Stunning stuff.

Re: Official Rock/Metal Discussion Thread
Coldplay's new album is indeed decent. I still think their last two albums (including this one) are their weakest. First three were enjoyable. "Paradise" on Mylo Xyloto is pretty great though.
Btw, The Color Spectrum is gonna be my album of the year, in all genres. Just looked at the releases for the rest of the year, and I don't think anything will top it.

Re: Official Rock/Metal Discussion Thread
i like death and all his friends much more than i like x&y. dig every track but that viva la vida song or whatever its called. doesn't match the album. probably like it more than rush of blood to the head as well. parachutes is their best though, thats easy to decide.
i'll give the new coldplay a listen soon.

Re: Official Rock/Metal Discussion Thread
I'm listening to Pink Floyd's The Wall right now. I think I d'loaded the new remastered one, not so sure about that though? Haven't heard this album in a while and I have a hard time deciding on whether this is my 2nd favorite album by them or Dark Side of The Moon.
