Dug out an old Disembodied album the other day, now I can't turn it off. Fucking awesome, the best bits of hardcore, sludge and metal rolled up in one. What an amazing band, it's been too long.

Got the Kerouac/Pariso split in the post today. Beautiful packaging, CD-sized 5" vinyl, gatefold, open up and the credit card shaped CD pops up like in a kids book. Unfortunately the record is too small and the needle on my player assumes its the run off and lifts off so I can only listen to the CD. Fucking awesome though. Kerouac are sick and Pariso are really good and kind of grind-y.

that festival would confuse the shit out of me. half of it, pretty cool, the other half, utter shit.

anyway, about Dream Theater, i remember as a kid i went to a Dream Theater/Yes concert because my dad was a big fan of Yes. Dream Theater bored the fuck out of us so hard we almost didn't make it to Yes.

luckily, we managed to fight it out and see an amazing 2 hours of Yes music.
