yeah, Color Spectrum is in favorites of all time category, its transcended "best of the year" discussion. i just can't get over how well they executed such a unique and creative, ambitious musical experience.

Well said. It's seriously astonishing how they made an album this consistent. Now all that talk makes me kinda sorry that I didn't put it in my list.

Violet / White are my favourite, but honestly there isn't a bad track on the album (36 tracks jesus) and they spent less than 2 years on it.

It's one of the best albums ever made and it's such a shame that only a handful of people will ever hear it. If it came out in 1970's when good albums sold buckets, it would be celebrated as such.

you really need to hear the whole thing to grasp the greatness too. i know a few people who just checked out the one album of like 11 or 12 songs collected from the EPs, and i bothered them until they agreed to get the rest. its just not as complete without the entire spectrum and all its tracks.

i dont know you but i found it better than blood mountain. Black Tongue, Spectrelight are my fav songs, Creation Lives was a pleasant surprise.
