My Artifex Pereo, Ailments & Antidotes album finally arrived today and I've just finished listening to it. Wow, what an album from start to finish. This bands first full length release is a completely different sound/direction to their EP, Am I Invisible. It appears as if the band member who did the screams on the EP has left the band and instead, Evan graces us with his amazing vocals throughout, without a partner. The range in his voice is incredible and he does provide some high pitched screams in various songs. The album does have some heavier, post-hardcore tracks but what stands out is the experimental rock (almost indie rock) direction they go in on some of these songs. The band really suits this style and I am very impressed overall.

It's just a shame this albums release was delayed for so long due to Evan (the vocalist) leaving the band. I hope he does decide to return to the band one day but it appears as if they are already seeking a new vocalist to take over from him.
