New Atreyu tracks sound promising. I've accepted the fact they'll never truly revert back to their original sound but I honestly wouldn't want them too. I think they finally found the balance they we're trying to achieve.

Random but wanted to know people's opinions on the band "Bleeding Through". I love 'em, been a fan of theirs for awhile wanted to hear some feedback.

Big fan of them, Declaration has got plenty of plays in my music library. Sister Charlatan was probably my favorite song of last year. I really need to get around to listening to there early stuff.

Yeah "Declaration" is a beast of a record. It's always a band I wanted to see live as well. Fuck my friend right now he's seeing In Flames w/ Killswitch Engage, Protest the Hero & Between the Buried and Me. Sold out show too. Grr!

New song by The Almost called "Lonely Wheel" is a bit dissapointing imo

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DGV8MpyMic

Sounds to me like Aaron let those mortals in his band write on this song............

(How do you embed a youtube video into posts on this forum? I've seen it done before)

I had tickets to that show, but had some other plans so had to get rid of them

I wanted to see all four of the bands to.

New Album Review

Three Days Grace: Life Starts Now- the Canadian rock band's anticipated follow-up to One-X. This album is very impressive. Great stuff from Adam Gontier, and I was also pleased with all the awesome guitar riffs present on this album. The best songs on this album as of first listen are "World So Cold" and "Lost In You". The album is straight-up, pure Three Days Grace. This in my opinion, is an all around better album than One-X. Its up there with their self titled debut album. I am very happy that this year has given way to many good albums.

3.5/5

Came across another new band that you should check out, Bruteshot. The band is called The Word Alive and they have an EP album that came out this year called Empire. This band is metalcore/post-hardcore/electronica. They're heavier than I See Stars - I'd put them on the same level as Asking Alexandria. I've listened to three tracks so far and Battle Royale and Casanova Rodeo are awesome songs.

Check them out.

Hmmm, they are not bad. I like Asking Alexandria & I See Stars better but will give them a chance. Need a full album, EP's are never enough to listen to

Got around to listening to the Evergreen Terrace album this morning and it is solid. I have never listened to any of there old stuff so this was basically my first time listening to them. I thought it was really good. Need to go through again so I can pick out some songs that stick out. Enemy Sex is something that sticks out for me though, it was up on there myspace way before the album dropped so I had some exposure to it before.
