Re: Official Rock/Metal Discussion Thread
I remember when Heroin Diaries came out, I played Pray For Me to death, LOVED that song, and the album as a whole was impressive. Just one of many bands that have me excited for a new release this year.

Re: Official Rock/Metal Discussion Thread
Was way devo when the underage Evergreen Terrace/Casey Jones show was cancelled last year, both are such good bands. CxJ's new album is pretty sweet, the title song on the album is that good.

Re: Official Rock/Metal Discussion Thread
I've listened to Decoder's debut album and overall, a solid first album from a very promising band. I absolutely love the track Dreamwalker.
I'm also half way through on the new Architects album, The Here And Now. So far, I prefer it to Hollow Crown. The clean vocals are a huge improvement, likewise the screams. So far, so good.
Finally, I've found a new band people can check out. They are called Artifex Pereo and their debut album comes out Spring this year. Their first song off the album that has been revealed is called Suburbanite Sprawl. It's a fantastic song and the lead vocalist is incredible. Such a wonderful voice. It sort of reminds me of the clean vocals on Of Mice & Men where the guy can sing but also add high pitched screams. The band is a mix of post-hardcore and ambient rock.

Re: Official Rock/Metal Discussion Thread
For fans of A Skylit Drive: go listen to 'Identity on Fire' easily has been played on repeat since I got it. Blends all everything they've done perfectly and is just catchy as hell. Probably the most underrated band in their scene. Unique vocals, high energy and catchy hooks. Get some!

I like the new Sixx AM song. Definitely looking forward to that album.
Also excited about new Silverstein. This is looking to be a bright year in music.
