Yeah I saw them twice this last year, seen A7X 3 times in total and my friends are going to go see them again in LaCrosse, Wisconsin next week but i'm not going due to money issues . They're pretty good live, they totally upstaged Disturbed the headliner of that tour too haha. Caught a Mike Portnoy stick at the last concert too which is beyond epic since i've been a Dream Theater fan for about 10 years now.

Halestorm still touring with them? They really impressed me too.

Nah, the lineup for this one is Stone Sour, Hollywood Undead (blech), and New Medicine. The show was pretty awesome. And Halestorm is great, I saw them open for Chevelle back in 2009 and at Uproar last year, loved 'em both times.

Halestorm and Stone Sour are actually gonna tour together later this year. There's a tour called the "Avalanche Tour" and the lineup is Stone Sour, Theory of a Deadman, Skillet, Halestorm, and Art of Dying (who are awesome). I'd go to the show in my area if it wasn't on WrestleMania weekend.

I'm not really fond of Theory of a Deadman and was told they're fucking awful live but otherwise i'd go see that show. Actually I heard them giving tickets away on the radio today for Avalanche but they only brought up Stone Sour and Skillet (who i've been told is pretty good live) were gonna be there.

Ah okay. I'm pretty impartial on ToaD, my brother was hot on them for a while a few years ago so I used to listen them from time to time and I did like a few songs. Do nothing for me now but every now and again I might listen to something of theirs.

Stone Sour are down here in a month or so for Soundwave and are doing sideshows with Coheed and Cambria, Sevendust and 36 Crazyfists which I really wanted to go to though I already have tickets to the Social Distortion/Gaslight Anthem sidewave that night.
