I absolutely loved that covers album. Rob Thomas has a fantastic voice when he's not singing absolute shit.

Hated that Nas cover though, sounded awful and didn't flow.

James LaBrie's new solo album "Static Impulse" is actually REALLY fucking good. I wasn't expecting anything like this to be honest. Definitely has a Soilwork/Scar Symmetry/Solution .45 type vibe to it. I usually don't lile LaBrie's vocals at all, but he sounds great on this album, and the phrasing is great as well. Kicks the shit out of anything Dream Theater has done in a LOOOOONG time.

Interesting. LaBrie is the last guy from DT i'd check out a side project on but might go give this a chance.
