Re: Official Rock/Metal Discussion Thread
It Mike joins A7X full time then that's amazing and a perfect fit. I don't think Rev would mind that choice either.

Re: Official Rock/Metal Discussion Thread
Ugh, new Linkin Park is so very disappointing, not a single track was enjoyable to me at all. The most listenable ones are Wretches and Kings, Iridescent. The rest was balls.
Not a big fan of Stone Sour's new album either, sadly. As Come What(ever) May was awesome.

MP says it is because he wanted to take a break from DT and DT decided to move on without him. Appearently A7X didn't even know until everyone else.

Re: Official Rock/Metal Discussion Thread
After the disappointments of Stone Sour and Linkin Park's new albums, I'm hoping that Saliva and Limp Bizkit don't let me down. Also really can't wait for Blink 182 to get some new stuff together.
Also, seen that Velvet Revolver have been writing new material and might have a new album out next year once they sort out who's gonna sing for them.

Lol, Limp Bizkit and Saliva. They'll be disappointments because they're shit.
Stone Sour wasn't a disappointment at all, I though it was good.

Re: Official Rock/Metal Discussion Thread
I got to listen fully to The Word Alive's debut album, Deceiver last night and from start to finish it's awesome. I enjoyed every single track but some tracks more than others really stood out. Such an amazing album from a very promising and talented band. Plus, the fact I got the package with a The Word Alive t-shirt (which I am currently wearing now) and a signed booklet by the band makes my purchase even the more satisfying.
My Linkin Park album should be with me tomorrow. Play.com have sent me my copy but still no word on the one I've pre-ordered off the actual Linkin Park site. Anyway, I'm glad to see some mixed reviews of A Thousands Suns as I knew some would either love or hate the new direction the band have gone in. I'm so glad they've decided to disregard what the fans want and make the music they want to make and not the same old album that has been imitated so many times by others.
Thanks guys for the feedback on the album.

Re: Official Rock/Metal Discussion Thread
Saliva is usually disappointing these days. Not too big a fan of Limp Bizkit, so can't comment on them.
I've LOVED every Blink 182 album ever, so I feel great about their upcoming album.

Re: Official Rock/Metal Discussion Thread
Plus, on Velvet Revolver doing new stuff, you'd be fairly certain Myles Kennedy will be doing vocals on that, as Slash seems to have Myles involved in everything he does nowadays.

I've been waiting for their new album to come out forever. With the way it's going that shit better be good. haha. Blink hasn't released anything I haven't liked. I absolutely LOVED "The Mark, Tom & Travis Show" I used to have that album on me at all times during Middle School.

Re: Official Rock/Metal Discussion Thread
New Linkin Park album is such a let down, but I guess I shouldn't be surprise since their last one wasn't great either.
