I don't want BB to lose that hard, grungy like edge they have to the majority of their music.

As far as I'm concerned, not every band needs to change their sound to remain appealing.

Look at AC/DC, you could say anything from any of their albums is from any era.

Not all bands have to change sound to be successful. I think Breaking Benjamin are trying to prove that with their latest effort.

Spineshank have got an album out in a few months I believe. No set date, but they're back together and are currently making god progress with writing. Any fans of them hear? Apparently their sound has changed considerably?

I really like the new Breaking Benjamin song actually. I had no problems with Phobia, it was solid from top to bottom and was something I listened to a bunch. I almost forgot about them until I seen that somebody put some news about them in this thread a while back. I could care less if sounds like there old material, sounds good to my ears then I am perfectly fine with that.

With AC/DC though really? They have like 16 albums or something of pretty much the exact same stuff but you know what?

Alot of people who listen to AC/DC don't buy but a few of those albums (Back in black , highway to hell , let there be rock) and if they buy a few others its generally (The razors edge , TNT , Dirty deeds done dirt cheap , Black ice) and then that still leaves like 9 albums of whats apparently widely considered pure shit that nobody buys which is more than the ammount that people consider good from them

I'm sure AC/DC probably doesn't even play songs from those 9 failure albums live either , so its almost like they wrote and recorded all of those songs for absolutley nothing because their fans won't even buy those CDs and they won't play those songs live either

When I was going through the AC/DC albums on wikipedia all of the unpopular albums they've made all had a bunch of 1 and 2 stars listed under the ratings lol
