But, Eazy's not trash. He did write some of his material following his first album, but he still had a good flow. I'd take a ghostwritten Eazy over majority of the shit on the radio now anyway.

I didn't say he was the greatest, not even top 30, but I still enjoy him.

So today someone leaked a diss track by Diggy Simmons towards J. Cole.

Diggy claims that J. Cole dissed one of his sisters in the song "Purple Rain" and then J. Cole had a line on his song Grew Up Fast which wasn't really a shot at Diggy but he's mad about it. The diss song was made in September 2011 but someone leaked it today.

Here's what Rev Run had to say about it on Twitter: J Cole.. Puts out 2 records Dissing family & Diggy & nobody cared.. Some1 leaks a old Diggy record & there's a problem?

GTFO. J. Cole will eat that little motherfucker alive.

Eazy really wasn't good though. That's not to say that he'wasnt entertaining/enjoyable. But he wasn't a good rapper and not just because he didn't write. I can see someone being a fan because he had charisma and a funny voice, so he could be an entertainig listen. But from a skills perspective, he had basically none. He knew it too, pretty sure ive read that he didn't even want to rap.

Watching Mania made me realize a few things. One, I knew both the MKG(is that his name) and Florida songs played before the main event, but didn't know whose songs they were until tonight. When I say "knew" I mean I'd heard them enough in the background to recognize them, I ain't listening to that bullshit by choice.

But it really makes me realize how POP music is basically this watered down version of hip hop. Not N Sync type boy bands. Or Britney Spears. Or Michael Jackson. Some bastardized version of rap music IS pop music. Like half-ass rapping is more common than singing now.

And I fucking hate it. Fuck all these ......s rapping alongside Skylar Gray or whatever that awful voice singing bitch name is. Fuck these bitch ass kids listening to this shit. Fuck these 35 year olds(yah Florida, you d as shit) making this shit. And fuck these execs for pushing this shit. These mf'ers make Diddy look like Pete Rock, I swear to god. Ja Rule and 50 Cent look like Rakim and Kane next to these mf'ers. I'm old enough to remember when Dre and Snoop made THEIR shit. They made THEIR shit and pop came to them. Even Dre makes corn now. Yo, fuck all these mf'ers for real. Hip hop is GAY. We need to come up with a new genre, then at least itll take a good 30 years for some dickheads to ruin it. I need to go listen to a Scarface album ASAP.

Totally agree, but pop doesn't just steal from rap. It steals from dance and rock and all kinds of places. It just picks whatever genre is hot and then completely bastardises it. Right now dubstep is hot, so you hear twats like LMFAO and Britney Spears putting dubstep breakdowns in their music, it's horrendous.

Bolded part is definitely on point... between LMFAO, Flo-rida, etc. Even as far back as N Sync and Britney Spears you can hear a little bit of hip hop influence in the production, it's just at another level now.

Which brings me to this place. You motherfuckers are no better. The next 5 or 10 pages will be about Hopsin (current go-to rapper for those who don't listen to hip hop) or some other garbage motherfucker the blogs are being PAID BY PROMOTIONAL TEAMS TO RAVE ABOUT, like was proven to have happened with Odd Future when they got their sudden "buzz" despite not being hot in Cali and being wack as fuck. That's a problem.

The hipster influence in general from places like Pitchfork/Complex is the biggest problem. You see it on here... Rick Ross is "generic southern trash glorifying excess" in 2008, 3 or 4 years later when he actually does start making some generic southern records he's "the best rapper in the game, breathtakingly braggodocious" and the kids on here buy into both descriptions. Now they're saying "bauce" and all his catchphrases, etc... SOHH catchphrases too.

You fa99ots need to stop it, you're hurting the culture.
