Re: Last album you listened to?
I finally listened to the Pet Sounds album by the Beach Boys. I've always heard it was a top 5 greatest albums of all time and I finally had to buy and listen to the entire thing so I did that on itunes and I don't really don't know what to say about this album besides that it has some of the best music and sound to an album that I've ever heard, every song on it is amazing but aside from the hits which are Wouldn't It Be Nice, Sloop John Be, God Only Knows, and Caroline No most of the songs sound similar but in a good way. I'm not saying anything on this album is bad or not worth a listen but just like any album there are moments after the first 3 songs that I'm just waiting for God Only Knows to play but I kept with it and listened through and found the greatness in it. There's no doubt it's up there with Velvet Underground and Nico, Revolver, Nevermind, Dark Side of the Moon, Pipers At The Gates, and the rest of the best.

You sir, have a good taste in music! My personal favorite from Pet Sounds is You Still Believe in Me, but God Only Knows, Wouldn't It Be Nice, and Sloop John B are up there as well.

Yeah the You Still Believe In Me song is my favorite as well. I always wanted to listen to the entire thing and it was that song that drew me into hearing the entire album.
My personal favorite song on Velvet Underground and Nico is Sunday Morning, I've been listening to that song in particular a lot lately.

I haven't heard much of the Velvet Underground tbh. Would the self-titled album be a good one to start with?

Re: Last album you listened to?
Eminem: Recovery- big fan of Em. His last album Relapse received mixed reviews I liked it but not as much as I hoped I would. This album, I can rightfully say is miles better than Relapse. Better than Encore as well. Very strong album, the verses on some tracks are just epic. Strongest tracks on the album for me are "Talkin' To Myself", "Going Through Changes", and "No Love". Solid tracks that also should be mentioned are "Won't Back Down", and "On Fire". Overall, very very pleased with this album and I know I am going to listen to it multiple times, and my rating for this album will probably go up with multiple listens. As it stands my third favorite release from him. Not even a big fan of hip hop, but this is my album of the year thus far, I think.
8.5/10
