Godsmack: The Oracle- I am not a huge fan of Godsmack. To be honest I only like three of their songs in "Awake", "Straight out of Line", and "I Stand Alone". Yeah, just their hits. Well, checked out their latest, and it is pretty decent. "Saints and Sinners" is a pretty fantastic song, which is going to find its way onto my iPod. The instrumental "The Oracle" and "Cryin' Like A Bitch" are also some very good songs worth checking out. In my opinion, not a overly great album, but it was good for a listen. Pretty sure real fans who like Godsmack would hold this latest effort with high regard.

As I Lay Dying: The Powerless Rise- Well if I only checked out a low amount of Godsmack before today's listen, its even less for As I Lay Dying. Only really liked "Forever". I guess the band doesn't fit my style. Many of the tracks on this album were forgettable to me. If I had to pick a favorite track it would probably be "Anger and Apathy". I think I might actually give the album another listen, perhaps it will grow on me after that. But for now I am not high on this album, but that can certainly change.
