All their albums are solid, nothing bad at all. Best place to start? 'Hail Destroyer' is probably their best and I think it's their most well-received album so that would be a good place. 'Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones' is similar and also very good. |

It's as good a place as any. I wouldn't say there are any major changes from album to album, they all feel solid to me. My favoritism is more a matter of a) being my introduction to them and b) featuring guest spots from various acts I was really into at the time.

Was shocked by this, didn't keep it on my Ipod because I can't tolerate a full Jim Jones album but some of the songs on here were tough. Carton of Milk, Deep Blue, Drops Is Out, Take a Bow come to mind.  at Cam's verse on Getting to the Money, I'm a huge Cam stan but I can't even defend that. Possibly the only song ever where Jim Jones outrapped him

To mourn the loss of my Iron Monkey hoodie which I've had for almost ten years (it's time to move on, he's a bit dishevelled the poor thing), it's time to give them another airing. Both albums on full blast.
Such a quality band.
