This was my first listen to Voivod. Gotta say, I expected a little more. Though the Inuit throat singing was cool. Also, bits of this reminded me of Coroner.

Fair enough, they've pretty much stuck with their distinctive Voivod style since the beginning and I've been a fan since Nothingface way back in 89. I think it is telling that someone of the distinction of Jason Newstead decided to join for a few albums.

Fuck dude, I haven't listened to Coroner in well over ten years. You may be right, particularly the industrial elements.
