Pipers at the Gates of Dawn- I usually love this album but for some reason it just wasn't clicking with me tonight while I relaxed and tried enjoying it.

Velvet Underground and Nico album with the banana- Finally got the chance to listen to the whole thing a couple of days ago. What a fucking album this is. Dark, real, and fun as hell. Revolutionary stuff at the time and still not matched today in terms of creativity.

Also been listening to Cypress Hill strictly hip hop greatest hits. This is a really good collection of Cypress Hill songs. Not perfect, missing some stuff but really cool song to smoke to if you do that or just to listen to in general if your a hip hop fan. Especially the earlier work of theirs on this album that's more hard hitting old school rap.

That Foo Fighters might be one of the first CDs I ever bought. Very close to being a "Greatest Hits", IMO. Also listened to much of that Fleetwood CD, especially after the "Glee" tribute episode, though I find I like the TV show's versions better in many cases.

As for me, listened to "Fight Songs" by Old 97's again yesterday. Think I'd put that on my list of "desert island" discs if forced to make one.

One of those albums that brings me back to a specific time in my life. 3rd year of college, we would sit on our front porch, get ridiculously fucked up, listen to that album, and check out freshman chicks walking by (to get anywhere form the dorms you had to go past our house). Whenever that album is even mentioned, I think of that damn porch.
