My first concert ever was when I was a freshman in highschool on May 20, 2005. I went all the way to New Jersey to see Velvet Revolver. It was such a kick ass show and I couldn't hear for two days after that. I never experienced ringing in my ears before that night.
The next concert, I guess you could say I went to was George Carlin's HBO Special "Life Is Worth Losing".
Last summer I went to three:
Rush
Velvet Revolver
Dream Theater
Then in October I went to see Alter Bridge in a small bar type place called the Filmore, what an amazing show.
And this Wendesday I will be at Crue Fest seeing Buckcheryy, Trapt, Poppa Roach, Sixx Am, and of course...Motley Crue!!
Just got back from a show myself. Went to go see Zao, their first show in 2 years. Awesome to see them live as always. Said they are now recording a new album, hopefully it will be good.
We got there a little late so we missed some band called Advent and most of Oh Sleeper's set. Never heard of Advent, and Oh Sleeper was lame from what I saw.
Demon Hunter headlined, and of course they kind of suck too so I left about 3 songs into their set. Really I just went to see Zao. Demon Hunter headlined the last Zao show I went to also but I don't know why. Zao is way better and clearly more popular with the crowd around here. I mean, I know the bands kind of have a history together with the whole 'Training for Utopia' split CD, but I wish they would come around with a band I like such as God Forbid or Walls of Jericho or something.
I've been to alot of concerts. Been to alot of Ozzy Osbourne, Dio and Black Sabbath concerts.
Some of my most recent concerts I've been to are:
-Heaven and Hell back in October 2007
-Ozzy Osbourne in November 2007
I will be going to the Masters of Metal concert on August 28th in Phoenix which consists of Heaven and Hell, Motorhead, Judas Priest and Testament. Since they aren't coming to Vegas I decided to just go ahead and travel to see them. Be leaving on August 27th and coming back August 29th.
