Blink 182 is awesome, My favorite band ever, I love Dude Ranch, Enema of the State, and the Self Titled Album. They are good when they sing about stupid things, and when they get serious, the songs are meaningful as hell.
With all this said, Blink 182 is a pretty awful band live, as much as I hate to admit it.

^ Saw them at BDO over here in like 2000. At the time, I marked coz I was 11, but looking back at replays/DVD's footage, they weren't that good tbh.

How about Judas Priest? I enjoy thier older stuff as opposed to the new. Albums like Sin after Sin and Rocka Rolla have alot of very good songs like Last Rose Of The Summer, Rocka Rolla, Starbreaker, Diamonds and Rust, and alot more. I also like The Screaming for Vengeance alot.
I will listen to all of priest, but the newer stuff just is not quite as good. I guess its like that with alot of the old groups I listen to.

Offspring being called decent is laughable imo...
Anyways, Judas Priest is great. I have a live album from back in '77 I think. Great stuff, really enjoy it.
I love when people say they hate the new Trivium album. What makes it the best to hear is that they need to realize that their 3rd album's style is the style that they have ALWAYS wanted to play. Just love everyone bashing on them for what they like more. Terrific.

I saw them during the pop disaster tour and they were pretty bad, green day stole the show and I dont even really like them that much.
