Avantasia's third album is releasing soon. Its operatic metal, a collaboration of various artists, but with Edguy's lead singer Tobias Sammet being more attracted to Hair Metal, its bound to be more Hard Rock this time.
Apparently, Tobi has arranged for the drummer of KISS to play for Avantasia this time.

Peter Criss in Avantasia? OMG
My excitment for this is really off the charts. If anything on this album can come close to the epic, The Seven Angels, that would just be spectacular.
This album should be awesome.

Underneath was the last of their's I got from 2004 and I loved it. There "latest" album is nearly a year old.
They have definately matured from their MmmBop days. |
