Re: Rock & Metal Discussion Thread.
So.
Does anyone here like Saliva? Just wondering, coz I love 'em.
lol.
But seriously, what's everyone's take on them?
I personally didn't like their new album "Blood Staind Love Story" but loved "Survival of The Sickest" and "Back Into Your System".
Thoughts?

Well, er, um - nothing like Maiden. Maybe if it was played at half speed it would be close. Too much going on in the drum department as well.

Well did you like it anyway? I would hate to have had you download something you didn't like.

Re: Rock & Metal Discussion Thread.
I like a few Motley Crue songs, Dr. Feelgood, Sick Love Song, Girls, Girls, Girls. Im not a major fan, only got the songs that I saw the videos too on a tv channel, so could anyone recommend any decent songs/albums by them. Also, didnt they do an horrendous cover of Anarchy In The Uk.

I know you trust my musical judgement, so here goes..
Home Sweet Home - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4457H6Gxd8
Wildside - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eza_JcuQWvk
As for albums...
Theater of Pain
Girls Girls Girls
Dr Feelgood.
Oh, just found out their new album, The Dirt, comes out in June with a single coming out in May. It will feature the orignal line-up.
And if you want a good read, get The Dirt. Amazing stuff. The chapter on Vince's daughter will pull at you heart strings.

Re: Rock & Metal Discussion Thread.
Random Thought - I like Bullet For My Valentine's first album 'Poison' much more then 'Scream, Aim Fire' tbh. More listenable music as there is actually more singing then screaming.
Same with some other bands like Atreyu and Cradle of Filth. Not into their new albums as much as there older ones.

I don't care much for the Girls, Girls, Girls album but that song and Wildside are very good.
Ahh and so thats when the album is coming out, thanks for that. I loved that book, the story about the groupie and the phone was hilarious.

Re: Rock & Metal Discussion Thread.
Girls Girls Girls was ok, there are a few good songs on it. Theater Of Pain is awesome. I did enjoy their self-titled one with John Corbai(sp) on vocals. The whole album had a really heavy and agressive sound on it, heavy for the Crue anyway.

Re: Rock & Metal Discussion Thread.
I never heard the Corabi album in full but I've heard a few of their singles off the Red, White & Crue album and while different it certainly isn't bad.
