Why don't you deal with what I think is right, you act like your opinon matters more than mine, it doesn't to each his own.

I would defend it regardless of anybody talking bad about the music I enjoy, just the other people have a common understanding with me and don't rip into something and not have an open mind about it. Maybe people dislike the music you enjoy too but you don't see me saying that, because I have a respect for all types of music weather it sucks or not.

Disturbed concert goes out on pre-sale today, but only to Frontier members.

I'll probaly buy on Thursday, anyone know anything about Hordern Pavillion?

An opinion is neither right nor wrong. Some people defend their opinion more than others. I'm not a fan of Death Metal or Metal Core, that doesn't make it shit. I wasn't a huge fan of GnR for a very long time. Axel's voice annoyed the shit out of me, and at times it still does. I think he's gotten a bit better with age, like all of us.

I like the music of a lot of Death Metal bands. I'll use Nile as example, don't bother correcting the genre as it's not important, but as musicians they are a very talented band. To me it's a pity the vocals are what they are. It appeals to many, not me.

I really love the vocals of Disturbed singer David Draiman. He has that edge that borders on screaming but it's controlled enough to sound awesome. Tehn you listen to teh song Darkness off the Believe album as he sounds so sombre and melodic. I also like Chester from Linkin Park when he really screams. The chorus of "With You" from Hybrid Theory is a perfect example.
The [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XqRQmGoaB4Roadrunner United[/url] album has a song called The End. I didn't realise the guy who sung that is the singer from Trivium. He sound so different, much better.

Anyone else listen to bands like Cold and The Blank Theory? I was going to mention Breaking Benjamin but I know there are some fans here.

Cold is fucking awesome. I have their Year of the Spider album. Every song on there is nice as hell. "The Rain Song" is such an emotional and powerful song. Same can be said about "SadHappy". I was such a big fan that I had the spider logo of theirs all over my books in middle school. Its a sick emblem. I hate to hear that they broke up because I loved their work.

And about Chester's screaming. Listen to "Given Up" he has a 30 second (or so) scream on there.

Ah, it's okay. I'll just order mine on Thursday, when I know more people are coming with me anyway.

I love David Draiman, his vocals are amazing. They'e just so filled with energy, and passion, and you can feel it inside you.

I've decided I'll go to the Disturbed concert (buy it on Thursday) and if Judas Priest doesn't sell out, I'll buy ticket to that next week, and I'll probaly give Opeth a miss.

Judas Priest don't interest me. They were probably the one popular metal band I didn't enjoy during the 80's. A mate showed me how to play Living After Midnight on the guitar a long time ago. That's all I really know of their stuff.

Oh, you'll need to be a member of the website selling the tickets to get them. It's Ticketmaster in Melbourne. I've joined all of those sorts of sites ages ago just in case. My payment details were already logged in so it took about a minute to get my tickets.
