Re: Rock & Metal Discussion Thread.
Def Leppard is the one band I have not heard a band song from, though the covers album - Yeah - could use some help.

Re: Rock & Metal Discussion Thread.
Priest's Nostradamus was so bad, I don't know what the hell they were thinking. The interludes are all pointless and take up space/time, all the songs are ridiculously long and there are only 2 tracks with them playing at usual 'Priest speed (Persecution and the title track); everything else is so slow. One of the most boring albums I've ever heard.

Re: Rock & Metal Discussion Thread.
Guys, was wondering if you could clear something up for me?
Being a massive Alter Bridge fan, I was pretty chuffed to hear they were coming to Australia, but the Ticketmaster site, says they're not coming to Melbourne.
However, this page says they are.
I'm confused
Edit: Never mind, Alter Bridge's MySpace has the Festival Hall show listed in their tour dates, so I figure their word is better than Ticketmaster's.

Spirit Of Geneva
I also came across Hungarian Revolt if you like that name better.

I tried that, but the rest of the guys didn't think Salt March is a fitting name.
Thanks for the idea.

As for your question, yes, I still listen to them. I think they are brilliant and Serj does a great job on vocals, plus Darion isn't to bad either. I still think their best album is the first, but I love all 5 of them.

I agree, self titled album was my favorite followed by Toxicity then their double album. They may not be Nu-Metal but I was just trying to say I've been getting into my favorite Nu-Metal bands again, poor word choice I guess.

I like Def Leppard's song "Rocket",, heard it a couple of years ago on the radio when a local station was comparing their old sound to their new stuff..

My favorite and what I would say the best and most pure SOAD album would have to be the self titled. Every song on there was awesome. Toxicity was pretty good, but no as good as the self titled. Steal This Album wasn't their best work. Hypnotize had some good tracks and a bunch of mediocre tracks, and I never really listed to Mesmerize so I don't really know much about that one.
