Hyperbole, I was exaggerating it for an added effect. Obviously, it is all opinion.
J Merce, I have bad news. Def Leppard has Tim McGraw on the upcoming CD. Looks like it is "pulling a Bon Jovi."

I always said that aboout the opinion as well because everyone like differnet music and even bands so basically there is no so fun as the greastest band ever. You could do polls and because a band is chosen as the greatest band it does not mean they are the best band.

I'll have to agree. Gojira are bloody awesome they are one of my favourite bands at the moment. I'm still listening to their From Mars to Sirius album. It has so many great tracks on there, I could listen to the whole album all day. I can’t wait for their new album to come out.
Plus I still can't believe they are French. Didn't know they could do good music.

The Bleeding is incredible song by them. Shall have to look for a couple more songs by them though as I only heard a few.

The Bleeding is a cool song but it's not even close to the best song on the album. A lot of the songs on that album are a lot cooler

^^^Neither, and please don't mention Nirvana again.

I'm not a huge fan of Testament, but I love their album The Ritual, which I far as I can gather was a step in the right/wrong direction for them as far as their music goes. Alex Scholnik is an amazing guitar player. That album, in places, sounds Metallica with Joe Satriani on lead guitar.

It's probably closer to the truth than not. They have easily been the most successful and influential "metal" band of the last 25 years. Sure, they are better musicians, but Kurt Cobain proved you don't need to be a good musician to be successful.
