Better than The Recession to be honest. Nas still has the best album of the year so far in my opinion.

I was going to take your post seriously until you added Lil' Wayne to your list of "good" albums.

I've been listening to a lot of Eazy E and NWA lately, and I have to say I really enjoy them. Eazy is probably one of the greatest MCs of all time while NWA is the top rap group of all time. Ice Cube is pure gold in NWA.

May Not of been one of the greatest albums of all time but it was pretty good and you can't deny its success

Weezy came out with some nice songs from that album, especially one of my favourites Mr. Carter. I think it was at least better than decent.

They were great, but I take Public Enemy as the greatest rap group. NWA's right there though. Just not enough sustained excellence.

Same here... I have been listening to late 80's/90's rap lately... I am basically waiting until Detox comes out... if it ever does.

The mainstream stuff today is so bad. I can't stand Weezy actually. I only listen to Kanye, Lupe, TI, Nas, Mos Def, and Talib Kweli... they are my today's rap music.
