^ Hopefully his new mixtape will be dropping soon and he will be back to his best.

Drag-On's awful. Fireman off Cradle To The Grave was awesome, otherwise nah.And I don't reckon there's really anything wrong with Shinoda- 'It's Going Down' was crazy, but the album didn't really deliver like that. Still not that bad though.
Everyone bags on Shinoda because of his LP days, because they think he's untalented, and he isn't great on the mic, I didn't say he was awful, but his beats are awesome.

Default Re: My Random Thoughts On Hip-Hop

I'm Going to Break Down Encore to show everybody who claims Eminem has fallen off, that there views of ENCORE and first impressions are wrong.

1) Curtains Up
Just an Intro

2) Evil Deeds
One Of My Favorite Tracks from the album. Eminem has spoke a lot about his PERSONAL life, but rarely gets deep into thoughts about his Father. Speaks on his father wasn't there, and never knew why. Never had the chance to meet him, so without him his mom had full control. Which why he felt he became his Mothers Evil Seed. 2nd Verse speaks on how people label him. How people complain how hes always talking about "poor Marshall" on the topics of his Mother, and Ex-Wife. Its his wife, Its his evil deeds... Should give the man respect for opening up fully

3) Never Enough Ft Nate Dogg & 50 Cent
This track, Eminem talks about his where he believes his place in Hip Hop is at. He Knows hes one of the greatest, he knows he deserves it. He doesn't care what you say about him, just respect him. He knows he belongs to be mentioned next to names such as Jay-Z. He also makes it clear he wouldn't change anything in his life, because all that got him where hes at now. Nate Dogg on the Hook, 50 Stepping up his game everytime he rhymes with Em, makes it one of the best lyrical tracks on the album.

4) Yellow Brick Road
Telling the Story, His Side of the Story to the Whole "Foolish Pride" Tape from when he was a kid. Accused of being a racist. He explains the entire story. Back in 1989. Where he just didnt fit in cause he was white. Getting jumped daily and harrassed. Then he goes on talking about how he met Proof (R.I.P) Then how Proof and Em rhymed similar, with Big Daddy Kane influences. Rhyming BirthDAY with First PLAce. Then talking about High School, How he would try to fit in by wearing what was considered cool in the Hip Hop community... Then tells about the black girl from the tape. How they were seeing each other, Then she left him for another black guy. What I enjoy most about this track, he didnt make it a full apology, please forgive me track... He flipped it on everybody... With the line "But it was I singled out a whole race and for that apologize
I was wrong cuz no matter what color a girl is she's still a hoe" Haha Gold.

5) Like Toy Soldiers
You guys all know this song... talks about him being a leader, how this beef has gone to far already. The Battle aint worth losing lifes. How they tried to prevent the beef, but things were said that couldn't let pass... They put so much time into it all. Great Song, Great Video...

6) Mosh
Talks about the State of the War, President Bush, the troops and how we should all join together and march.. stand up for what we believe in, and MOSH! Not really a topic I care to hear about to be honest. But the way Eminem put it together, made it a great single. Plus the topic was hot at the time...

7) Puke
Just Another Track talking Shit On Kim... Angry Lyrics directed towards his ex wife. Just like the songs like 97' Bonnie & Clyde & Kim... I like it

8) My 1st Single
Touches on Many Topics on this one... Its pretty much about his attempt to make a catchy little tune for the radios and for TV, but he fucked it up.. purposely. Honestly, he had to be HIGH off something when this one was made.. haha I Like it though

9) Paul Skit

10) Rain Man
I Love this Track... Talks about how the people and listeners can be a little to sensitive with his lyrics. How they get offended by his Homophobic phrases. So what he does, he flips it on them. And doesn't come out and say "I Hate Gays" but sarcastically uses straight situations and questions them on how they really are Gay situations. Talks about Christopher Reeves, he always said stuff about him. Now that hes dead. HE KILLED SUPERMAN HE KILLED SUPER... MAN. Hes the Kryptonite, Spiderman is next... Okay lets be honest... "And I don't gotta make no god damn sense
I just did a whole song and I didn't say shit" But its a great song

11) Big Weenie
Big Weenie is a track made towards the people who "throw dirt on his name" and are jealous of him, people like Benzino. The reason why he uses such a childish Chrous and Name is simply because the stuff people say towards him, and try to do towards him are immature. This song is pretty much to mock them and tell them in there own words, That You hate Me because you want to be me. Since you can't, you are mean to me. Now he knows its immature to hate some one you want to be but can't... So He makes Big Weenie. Real Clever Track.

12) Em Calls Paul (Skit)

13) Just Lose It
Just his First Single to get the hype up about Eminem coming back... Stirs up some Contraversey of course, its needed if you are Eminem and coming out with an album. which is why he says the things about Mike Jack. Funny ass song, Loved it when it first dropped. It was just a preview of the different sound that was coming from Marshall.

14) Ass Like That
Okay... This Is Just a Funny Ass Song. Simple... Its Entertainment, Its Funny... Takes shots at R. Kelly, Pee Wee Herman.. Talks about the chicks he thinks that are hot. Jessica Simpson, Mary Kate and Ashley, Gwen Stefani... Just funny...

15) Spend Some Time With Me Ft Obie Trice, Stat Quo & 50 Cent
Definately 1 Of the top 5 tracks for me on this album... Just think its a good listen. Just talks about difficulties with women... How they treat them, and how they treat him..

16) Mockingbird
Real Hard not to like this song... Father Track, you know. Gets real personal and dedicates his song to his 2 daugthers. Great song, You guys all heard it and know what its about.

17) Crazy In Love
A lot of people think hes talking about Kim... Hes talking about the girl he wants to be with.. the type of girl that he wants. Literally CRAZY, Insane, Pshyco, Maniacs, In Love. Not all Lovely Crazy in Love... Like Jay & Beyonce... This is the Eminem version of it.. Great twist to it. Great track. I enjoy the beat and sample of the old song...

18) One Shot 2 Shot Ft D12
Just a Story Track about a Shootout. Not one of the better songs on the album... but it grows on you

19) Final Thought (Skit)

20) Encore/Curtains Down Ft. Dr. Dre & 50 Cent
Cuz i don't ever wanna leave the game without
At least saying goodbye!
Great Track, Again one of the top 5 tracks... Talks about there success of there labels. How they Run the Game... These other people aren't even on there radar. All these people complaining and bitching at them because they can't understand why they are so great... Just listen to them, and you'll know... Left people wondering, is this the last track from Eminem?

Overall, Its a Good Album... Its a Great Album... First impressions may not show its greatness. So it makes the rest of your listens with a negative attitude about it. Listen to It again, and LISTEN. Its yet another Genius album from Eminem.

Not a post in the world could make me want to listen to Encore. Especially coming from a guy named Shady, very biased opinions.

How can you judge his opinion by his name? Seems rather stupid in my humble opinion.

It's Shady, he's obviously a big Eminem fan. So his opinion is biased.

Plain and simple, it was a huge let down compared to his other 3 albums.
