Re: Current fav. 10 songs
Because I'm in too much of a lazy (and damn tired) mood, I'll only list three at this time. And I'm not starting to do the rest listing without explaining why I've chosen the ones I have to my list. To avoid unnecessary spam that is. Maybe I'll just continue the list later.
1. Creedence Clearwater Revival - Who'll Stop The Rain?
CCR has always secretly been one of my favorites, although I never admitted it to my dad, who happens to love this band. The song is one of their best and includes everything you'd want from a slow and emotional song. Another reason I love CCR - Fogerty's voice.
2. Faith No More - Ricochet
Faith No More is one of my alltime favorite bands and their third album (during the "Patton Era") includes songs everyone should hear before their death. Ricochet is one of them and for a good reason; Patton's voice is somewhat god-like, when it comes to dramatic singing. Yes, Ricochet isn't that dramatic, but listening to the lyrics carefully, you can discover many things.
3. Mr.Bungle - Pink Cigarette
Bungle has been one of the most controversial bands in some while and not without a reason. The style of mixing random sounds and changing genres within seconds isn't something you'd swallow easily. Even I can't stand some of their songs (many from Disco Volante), but listening to the third and final album is more of a calm experiense. Pink Cigarette is one of Bungle's best ones, with its catchy lyrics and very deep soundscape throughout the song. Well, it's very much a song you have to experience yourself to understand its greatness.
