I'm getting married on the 30th, and my mom and I are gonna have our mother son dance be Brass Monkey. It's kind of odd on the timing of this

Some more Beastie's awesomeness!!!

Mike D makes me laugh in this

This one gives me goosebumps!

Nice remix feat Cypress Hill

This is very good!

Their interviews are awesome too ... don't think they've ever given a serious interview and I imagine the interviewers don't know whether to take them serious or not lol

And I SO want to go to Adam Yauch Park!!!!

I'm not sure if you've seen this documentary .... but this is very good!!!

Re: The Beastie Boys - WF's vibes on the awesomeness!

Love the Beastie Boys, they're the first hip hop group that I remembered getting it. I went to my first ever Beastie Boys concert back in 1999, they were headlining along with Cypress Hill. I still remember that day like it was yesterday, it was the best day ever for me. So many stories, so much shit going on lol.

But, more on the musical note. I don't see too much love on their Hello Nasty album, I was brought up on that album and is my personal favorite. It has so many fuckin beats and mixed styles blended together so well. Mario C and Mix Master Mike definitely killed it on this album, it's perfectly produced imo.

^^
In the last minute of this, the bass line is just fuckin nuts.

You're SO lucky getting the chance to have seen The Beastie's live ... something I wish I'd have been able to do, which is not likely now ... though I'd still be made up to see/meet Mike D and Ad-Rock though, without a doubt.

How many times have you seen them live? .... I'm also loving 'Here's A Little Something For You' by The Beastie's right now too, so many really, I could go on forever however I wanted to share this one ...

Mah mah mah mah mah mah mah mah mah mah .... MIKE D!

And I love this too, it's an instrumental that they've done ... but it's just so chilling.

Also, has anyone seen the Futurama episode that the Beastie Boys was in? ... I watched this last night on Netflix and it was so good lol

I've liked their instrumental album, "The Mix-Up". Pretty damn good.

That run of albums, Paul's Boutique/Check Your Head/Ill Communication, just so good.

I'm also really into their hardcore stuff - would have loved to have seen Quasar.
