Too many to name, and I know I'll forget some anyway.

Ulfric Stormcloak; not a racist, not a megalomaniac, not a savage, but a hero with heart & ambition.

All hail to Ulfric you are the High King
In your great honor we drink and we sing
We're the children of Skyrim and we fight all our lives
And when Sovngarde beckons everyone of us dies

We drink to our youth to the days come and gone
For the age of oppression is now nearly done

Default Re: favourite band/bands

Single favorite band? It's hard, but I think it's Slough Feg or the Lord Weird Slough Feg. Favorites....well, simply too many. I have to go by genre. So I will.

Traditional Heavy Metal
(The Lord Weird) Slough Feg (fav. song now being The Final Gambit)
Manilla Road (fav song being the Battle of Bonchester Bridge)
Heaven and Hell (Fear)
King Diamond (Welcome Home)
Pagan Altar (some call it doom, buts it's much more NWOBHM or Traditional IMO. And The Rising of the Dark Lord is my favorite song by them.)
Blue Öyster Cult (Don't Fear the Reaper/Veteran of the Psychic Wars)
Motörhead (Overkill/Brotherhood of Man)

Power Metal
Blind Guardian (Sacred Worlds. Which also one of my favorite songs ever period.)
Lost Horizon (Welcome Back)
Edguy (We Don't Need a Hero)
Falconer (Clarion Call)
Orden Ogan (We Are Pirates!)

Thrash Metal
Municipal Waste (Set to Destruct)
Overkill (definitively, the GOAT thrash band) The Green and Black/Overkill/Electric Rattlesnake
Artillery (second best) (Khomaniac/Beneath the Clay)
Metallica (The Four Horsemen/Eye of the Beholder/Broken Beat and Scarred)

Death Metal
Immolation (Majesty and Decay)
Nile (Annihilation of the Wicked)
Bolt Thrower (the Killchain)

Black Metal
Satanic Warmaster (The Vampiric Tyrant)
Behexen (My Soul for His Glory/Mouth of Leviathan)
Panopticon (Bodies Under the Falls)
Summoning (Land of the Dead)

Blackened Thrash
Absu (Stone of Destiny (another one of my GOAT songs. It effectively blends power, black and thrash metal and doesn't sound corny or cheesy as fuck.)
Deströyer 666 (Unchain the Wolves with that GOAT opening sequence)
Vekor (Tetrastructural Minds)
Aura Noir (To Wear the Mark)

Blackened Death
Agruss (Ashes of the Future)
Vital Remains (Dechristianize)

Doom Metal/Stoner Metal and Rock
DoomSword (Basically, the entirety of the Eternal Battle. Favorite album of 2011)
Lair of the Minotaur (I put this here but it really is DoomDeath) Evil Power
Witchfinder General (Free Country)
While Heaven Wept (Vessel)
Warning (Watching from a Distance. Pretty much for this album alone. Don't know if they did anything else.)
Ice Dragon (I don't know how I forgot these guys. Dream Dragon might have album of this year)

Industrial
Blackholepit. The thing about these guys is that they released one GOAT tier album and disbanded. Portals is the best and most unique industrial albums you've ever heard. It's like an interstellar journey through wormholes and black holes and the dark space in between. LISTEN TO IT. It's hard to get all of it on YouTube. I've no idea if iTunes carries it but it can be found on VAL.FM

Metalcore
As I Lay Dying (yeah, fuck you) (Anger and Apathy/Anodyne Sea)
The Human Abstract (Antebellum)
Protest The Hero (Sequoia Throne)
Lamb of God Set to Fail/Grace

Desert Rock
Kylesa (Unspoken)
Karma to Burn (3)

Southern Rock/Metal
Sign of the Southern Cross (Huck Finn)
Down (Stone the Crow)

Guys who are unclassified because they do a lot or weird things
Devin Townsend/Devin Townsend Project/Strapping Young Lad... I literally cannot pick a favorite song. Guy is amazing.
Clutch (Hale Bopp Blues)
Dawnbringer (The Devil....epic song that must be listened to in the context of the two songs before it: So much for Sleep and You Know Me)
Ihsahn (Heaven's Black Sea)
Queen (Under Pressure/Somebody to Love)

Grunge
Alice in Chains Them Bones

EDIT: Well shit, if we're gonna start naming solo artists and shit, I'll just lump all non-metal together
Sleigh Bells (Rill Rill)
A$AP Ferg (Shabba)
Michael Jackson (Human Nature)
Johnny Cash (Ain't No Grave)
Camp Kill Yourself (Disengage the Simulator)
