I thought this would be a good idea considering there's multiple games with a lot of good memories. It can be reflections on games you've won, other players you thought did well, wtf moments, meltdowns etc, let's have a bit of fun. I'm pretty sure I started playing in 2008, actually I think this was my first game:
I think it's interesting how the landscape of mafia changes with time...it always seems to get those few new players needed to keep the section ticking along.
Pretty cool to be one of the only few people left, probably just myself and dan left actually to be still be playing and having participated in the first game on here.
It was the first clean sweep by Mafia and contained a hilarious meltdown from Seb. We silenced him for the day and town lynched him. While he was being lynched he was posting vigorously in a bunch of other threads in hopes that someone would notice and realize he was silenced.
HOW DID YOU NOT FIGURE OUT I WAS SILENCED? THE FACT MARINO BROUGHT IT UP? THE FACT I WAS ONLINE AT THE TIME AND POSTING ACTIVELY IN THE WORD GAMES THREADS AND SAYING HOW FRUSTRATED I WAS? THE FACT I REPPED A LOAD OF YOUR MAFIA POSTS, THE FACT I WAS CONSTANTLY VIEWING THE THREAD? THE FACT I WAS POSTING IN OTHER MAFIA THREADS TO GIVE YOU ALL A FUCKING HINT?
You didn't even give me a chance to defend myself. I would have thought as one of (arguably) the best players here and most experienced players here you would have given me that. How the fuck didn't you realise? You just lynched a night immune unkillable vigilante. You all just fell for the oldest fucking trick in the book, silence a powerplayer and get him lynched the next day. Seriously, dan_marino is the only one with an ounce a common sense. I was even talking to Chelseafan via PM about how moronic you all are. Wow. What had I even done to be suspicious? I came on and said I loved my role, which i'm always honest about. Honestly, this wasn't even good play on the Mafia's part, it was just stupidity by anyone who lynched me. The fact half of you didn't even know what a silencer was is even more worrying. I was one of the most active players in here. Hell, I even called Alcoholic a crap player in TTT after he lynched me, and he still didn't realise. Even more so after the lynching of Rising and you all saying 'Don't hammer him after he defends himself'.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I had a Wordpad document full of quotes of evidence on someone who is Mafia, and I know he's having a right laugh at you all over lynching me.
Tell Me A Story Mafia by Titania was also a great game, not saying this because I MVP'd, it was genuinely a really fun game with an interesting setup. It had 2 mafia teams split up and if they could complete certain tasks during the first 3 days they would be combined into one team. Things did not pan out as planned.

I have no recollection of this, but holy fuck I was salty.
It's great that Mafia is still going here, I have a lot of fun memories. Mostly being ousted by Rising every time I was Mafia. Favourite game is still the first one, Browniedude's. Either that or when Ghetto Anthony did a Lost Mafia.
fucking mav had to kill me that game. i had planned out how to completely destroy the opposing mafia team in literally 2 phases and mav killed me as the SK because he thought i was town.
I'M PUCK, THE CHALLENGER, HELP ME UNIFY THE MAFIA TEAMS, TOWN. :evil
God, I miss playing Mafia. I'm tempted to Sign-up again, even though I have barely any time now. I don't know how you guys juggle Work and Mafia together so well. :krillin
I still remember all the games so well, like it was yesterday. So many good memories, I still remorse over not winning as Scum in Fitz's game that one time. I played like a fucking idiot towards the end, and completely missed LC being scum, it's so obvious now looking at it. I still don't know how I didn't realize when I shot at her and she didn't die. :booklel
Think I 'may' sign up to the next one, see how I do. Even if I'm not as active, just playing again would be nice. Bored shitless when I get home anyways.
Say what you will about the games here and everything but nobody takes it super seriously and keeps it relaxed and fun with creative set-ups and roles, etc. I've had more fun playing mafia here than other sites I've tried.
Favorite role i've been on here has to be Forceful Employer in Nick Mafia, white knighting chr1st0 in that game so I could use his bus driver role for him was one of my personal favorite plays.
My favorite role to have has always been SK. It's just the most fun to play. It's you against the world and if you pull it off, which is very rare, then it feels so much better than winning as either team. I've pulled it off a few times. It's a great feeling winning with that role.
I think one of the most fun times I've had is when I was a 5th day Jester with a lying PR. I had to lie in every single post and I had to be lynched on the 5th day. Pulled it off.
Totally get what you mean LC. I love being SK/Indy as well, in one of my very first few games on here I was SK and loved it. I think I like not having to worry about letting your team down, whether that be Town/Scum as it's only you on your own, so any decisions you make will only impact your individual game.
DUELIST is my favourite role as i've always had success with it. it's also just fun getting to duel somebody in the middle of a phase as you gotta put yourself on the line.
There's a reason I tell people to play at least a year before hosting a game.
