That's 10 non-town right there in a 30 player game. I don't see the non-town to town ratio surpassing that.

Even though it would be inevitable I just don't see Skyfall coming out and admitting he's the last one left. It looks like he did that so we would waste a day trying to lynch him. I mean we should do it anyway I just have a feeling the game isn't over and he knows it.

Yeah, that's exactly my thinking too LC. He seems cocky and like he knows we are scrambling and won't be finished when we lynch him. I'll remain hopeful, but his attitude about everything screams the fact he still has a partner left.

Times are hard but not like they used to be back in my day.

Day 7

Despite being out of those prisonous mountains, the Donner Party was not quite finished. They still had a score to settle and punishments to deal out. Ever since being rescued, Skyfall had kept himself to a cozy couch lounging in front of a warm fire. Didn't matter that his friends had been killed or that he had to murder and eat others, he had survived and that was what mattered most. A noise outside caught his attention and before Skyfall knew it, he had an angry mob surrounding his room. There was no running this time, as ignoring Skyfall's pleas he had some Donner party JUSTICE dished out, being drawn and quartered.

Role: The Lone Survivor
Alignment: Asshole Aligned
You win when your faction is the only one remaining.

Bio: Out of all the members of this group, you were the most controversial figure. You kicked an elderly man out of your wagon and left him behind, may have taken part in the murder of Mr. Wolfinger, stole from the dead Donner’s, and may have killed the only other remaining survivor for food. When snowbound you lived with the Murphys and Breens, and an injury kept you from leaving with the First, Second, and Third Reliefs. When the Fourth Relief arrived months later expecting to clean up, they were shocked to find you still alive (along with a suspicious story concerning the death of Mrs. Donner), making you the last Donner Party member to be rescued.

Role: You were an asshole willing to sacrifice others if it meant you would survive. Each night you and your fellow assholes may kill one other player: just give me the name and person you’d like to have commit the kill. Also because you were able to survive so long until you were the only one left at the camp, you cannot be killed so long as you still have a teammate alive. Should you be lynched, however, your role will be posted and you will lose the ability to vote.

Item: You are the holder of the Gavel. Your vote will count for two today. During night either destroy the item or pass it off (say which one you want to do when you send your role in).

Bio: You were recorded as being one of the nicer members in the party: you wanted to go back when Hardkoop was left behind and you warned the two Indians that everyone else wanted to kill them for food. Once trapped, you left your wife and children behind to join ‘The Forlorn Hope’, a group of mainly adults who tried to get help. Out of the entire ‘Forlorn Hope’ you were one of the only two adult males to survive and the two of you returned with the Third Relief to help: unfortunately you were the only member of your family to survive.

Role: You were the self-appointed leader of the Forlorn Hope group and had to give out some tough orders during that time. You are the Traffic Controller: each night you may target two people, forcing these two to target each other (if possible) for that night.

You are also a 3-Shot Rescuer - each night you may PM me the name of one player and you will lead them out of the mountains to safety. You may only do this three times. You must first be rescued yourself in order to do this.



Hit-Girl is:

Role: 1-shot Paranoid Gun Owner
Alignment: Donner Aligned

Bio: You win when all threats to the town are defeated or all remaining town have been rescued. Once snowed in, you accidentally shot your brother-in-law William Pike and killed him. Sometime later you set out with the ‘Forlorn Hope’, a group of adults set out to get help for the rest. Once the group ran out of food you suggested killing and eating your two Indian guides. Out of the entire ‘Forlorn Hope’ you were one of the only two adult males to survive and the two of you returned with the Third Relief to help save your children.

Role: You (accidentally) killed your brother-in-law, and (not-so accidentally) killed the two Indians helping you. Your unpredictability with a gun makes you the Paranoid Gun Owner: the first person to visit you at night will be shot and killed (if visited by several at once I’ll randomize the kill).


*Modnote: If you are rescued, you will gain another shot.



TheFourthWall is:

Name: Ol’ Caleb Greenwood
Role: The Tree Stump
Alignment: Donner Aligned
You win when all threats to the town are defeated.

Bio: A trail guide, fur trapper, and all around manly badass, you are a famous mountain man and actually guided the party that was right ahead of the Donners to California, despite being in your 80s at the time. When word got out about the trapped pioneers, you and your son helped organize the rescue parties and supplies. Also you have a post restriction and must post as a stereotypical old man, always posting about how things were more difficult “back in my day” etc.

Role: You have absolutely no problem living in the wilderness, and are therefore the Tree Stump. If at any point in the game you would die, you will instead run off into the woods and hide out the remainder of the game there. You will be able to post still, but unable to vote and will not count on the players list. Also you must post as a stereotypical old guy, including “back in my days” and other cliché old guy sayings, etc in each of your posts (you can stop posting like that when you die if you want to, not like I can modkill you at that point anyway…).

You are also a Rescuer - each night you may PM me the name of one player and you will lead them out of the mountains to safety. If you become a ‘Tree Stump’ you’ll be unable to rescue anyone else.

Item: You are the holder of the Lantern. Your role will be unblockable for tonight and you can either destroy the item or pass it off (say which one you want to do when you send your role in).



CamillePunk is:

You win when all threats to the town are defeated.

Bio: A widow, you became snowbound with the group alongside your many children and two stepsons, living in a cabin with them and the Eddy family. When most of the others adults left in the ‘Forlorn Hope’ group to get help, you stayed behind, remaining one of the few adults at that camp to keep an eye on things. Unfortunately you were too weak to leave with the Third Relief and as the Fourth and final Relief came around, all they found of you was your remains.

Role: You stayed behind when most other adults left, and got to know and take care of the others. This makes you the cop: each night give me the name of one player and I’ll tell if you they’re town or not.


*Modnote: After losing most of your children you went insane (understandably), refusing to leave with the Relief Groups due to thinking them to be demons and spent most of your time laughing to yourself. You are actually the Insane Cop and will receive opposite results.



Phenom is:

Role: The Night Watchman

You win when all threats to the town are defeated.

Bio: When the Second Relief led a good portion of the party out of the mountains a blizzard came through, trapping them. Once cleared most of the party remained unmoving, too tired to walk any longer, and became known as ‘Starved Camp’. The rescuers grabbed who they could and continued. Several days later, you and the Third Relief came upon survivors of the exhausted camp. While some of the Third Relief continued on to the cabins, the rest grabbed the strongest-looking kids at Starved Camp and made their way back. But that wasn’t good enough for a big guy like you: you single-handedly carried and led all 10 survivors of Starved Camp out of the mountains.

Role: You weren’t about to leave anyone behind and did everything you could to save the greatest amount of people. This means that each night you may choose one player to keep an eye on, becoming their protector. If you survive the night, so will they. However if you are killed, they will die as well. You may not target the same person two nights in a row.

You are a Rescuer - the person you choose to protect will be lead out of the mountains to safety. If they were already rescued it will do nothing.



Titania is:

Bio: You were a teenager brought in to work for the Donners when you became stuck in this whole ordeal. As one of the able-bodied older males at the camps after most others left for help, that left you to do all the chores around the cabins. You survived well into the winter and made it out with the Third Relief. Once saved you made up stories about your heroics and bragged about eating flesh (wtf).

Role: Being one of the few who remained in decent-enough shape for so long and given that you apparently have no problem cannibalizing, you are the Vigilante. Each night you can, if you want to, send me the name of one player you’d like to kill. They will also be eaten and their role PM will not show up in the night write-up.



Mikey Damage is:

Bio: Along the journey you and a wagon driver got into a fight; after he allegedly attacked you and your wife with a whip you killed him with a knife. At that point you, but not your family, were banished from the group and ironically made it to your destination while the others became stuck. You did everything you could to get a rescue party to save them, wherever they were, and joined in on the Second Relief to rescue your wife and kids.

Role: You were thought to be a shifty guy by the rest of the party, etc etc somehow this correlates to you being the Quicktopic Checker. Each night give me the name of one player: I’ll tell you if they have a quicktopic link or not.

You are also a 1-Shot Rescuer - each night you may PM me the name of one player and you will lead them out of the mountains to safety. You may only rescue three people during the game.



KENSENBERG is:

This was a lie: on his deathbed Reinhardt confessed that the two had murdered and robbed him. After caught in the mountains, you were rescued by the First Relief.

Role: Your husband was murdered and you want revenge. If you are lynched during the game you may post ‘kill ____’ in bold in the game thread right after to strongman kill one player of your choice. This kill cannot be stopped under ANY circumstances.



Rising is:

Bio: You were the faithful family dog of the Donners’ and became trapped with them at the campsite in the mountains. All the food was exhausted and, unfortunately, you and every other animal were put down to feed the party.

Role: There’s good news and bad news. The good news is that you are a dog. Due to your keen sense of smell you are the Tracker. Bio: You were an old man who drove the wagon for the Kesebergs. When traveling through the Great Salt Lake Desert you were kicked out of the wagon to lighten the load and forced to walk with everyone else. Being near 70 years old you had trouble keeping up and soon fell behind. By the time anyone noticed you were missing, nobody cared to go back and get you.

Role: You were ditched. Nobody missed you. Nobody cared to look for you. Nobody even noticed you were gone. If you die in any way other than a lynch you will be notified and unable to post in the thread: however your death will not be posted for another four phases. Should you be “killed” again during this time your role will be posted.

Item: Ouija Board – You are the holder of the Ouija board. During night you will be able to summon a dead player back to the thread to talk for the following day and can choose to either destroy the item or pass it off (say which one you want to do when you send your role in).

TEHCOCK:

Name: George Donner
Role: The Benefactor/Vengeful Kingmaker
Alignment: Donner Aligned
You win when all threats to the town are defeated.

Bio: You were the Captain of the entire journey, and the patriarch of the entire Donner family. Before the wagon train even entered the mountains you cut open your hand while making repairs: it became infected and shortly after becoming snowbound at the lake camp you were bedridden for the entire time. Unable to move, you were pretty much screwed while the infection spread. Still you proved to be an old badass and passed away only days before the Fourth Relief arrived, making you one of the last to die (of those who died).

Role: As you were the leader of the wagon train, you’re basically the guy in charge around here. Should there be a mislynch, instead of allowing someone to starve to death you may choose someone who should be killed instead yourself. Along with that you are the Vengeful Kingmaker: if you are killed you may promote someone in your will to be the next Wagon Leader. This person’s vote will be the only one to count the following day phase.

Item: You are the holder of the map. You may rescue one person during night and either destroy the item or pass it off (say which one you want to do when you send your role in).

Bio: You and your husband, a wealthy couple, joined up with the Donner Party in their journey west. Along the way your husband and wagon fell back and when your two traveling partners Reinhardt and Spitzer caught up they claimed he had been killed by “Indians”. This was a lie: on his deathbed Reinhardt confessed that the two had murdered and robbed him. After caught in the mountains, you were rescued by the First Relief.

Role: Your husband was murdered and you want revenge. If you are lynched during the game you may post ‘kill ____’ in bold in the game thread right after to strongman kill one player of your choice. This kill cannot be stopped under ANY circumstances.



Hit-Girl:

Name: William Foster
Role: 1-shot Paranoid Gun Owner
Alignment: Donner Aligned

Bio: You win when all threats to the town are defeated or all remaining town have been rescued. Once snowed in, you accidentally shot your brother-in-law William Pike and killed him. Sometime later you set out with the ‘Forlorn Hope’, a group of adults set out to get help for the rest. Once the group ran out of food you suggested killing and eating your two Indian guides. Out of the entire ‘Forlorn Hope’ you were one of the only two adult males to survive and the two of you returned with the Third Relief to help save your children.

Role: You (accidentally) killed your brother-in-law, and (not-so accidentally) killed the two Indians helping you. Your unpredictability with a gun makes you the Paranoid Gun Owner: the first person to visit you at night will be shot and killed (if visited by several at once I’ll randomize the kill).


*Modnote: If you are rescued, you will gain another shot.



KENSENBERG:

You win when all threats to the town are defeated.

Bio: You and fellow Native American Luis were hired by Charles Stanton to help guide the group to California but you just wound up snowed in with them. The two of you set out with the ‘Forlorn Hope’, a group of adults who set out to get help for the rest. When the group ran out of food, they began to speak of kill and eating you two, until Mr. Eddy warned you, allowing you two to slip out. That just delayed the inevitable; the group came upon you both near death days later and put you out of your misery so that they could live.

Role: You and your fellow Indian Luis stand out a bit compared to everyone else in the party. You guys pretty much had to look out for each other. You both are masons and can speak with your partner Luis outside of the thread.



CamillePunk:

Name: Levinah Murphy
Role: Cop

You win when all threats to the town are defeated.

Bio: A widow, you became snowbound with the group alongside your many children and two stepsons, living in a cabin with them and the Eddy family. When most of the others adults left in the ‘Forlorn Hope’ group to get help, you stayed behind, remaining one of the few adults at that camp to keep an eye on things. Unfortunately you were too weak to leave with the Third Relief and as the Fourth and final Relief came around, all they found of you was your remains.

Role: You stayed behind when most other adults left, and got to know and take care of the others. This makes you the cop: each night give me the name of one player and I’ll tell if you they’re town or not.


*Modnote: After losing most of your children you went insane (understandably), refusing to leave with the Relief Groups due to thinking them to be demons and spent most of your time laughing to yourself. You are actually the Insane Cop and will receive opposite results.



Manurethebear:

Bio: You were an intelligent bachelor traveling with the group and went ahead for supplies once you reached the Great Salt Lake Desert. You reached California and, despite not having any relation or obligation to anyone in the party, brought back a bunch of supplies and two Indian guides. Once trapped in the mountain cabins you, who had already been through the area earlier, lead ‘The Forlorn Hope’, a group of mainly adults who tried to get help. Unfortunately, you did not survive the journey.

Role: You’re a smart and knowledgeable guy who likes to read. Each night you may PM me the name of one dead player who’s body you’d like to examine. You will receive this persons’ role PM.

Item: You are the holder of the Holy Pendant. You will be protected from death for tonight. During night either destroy the item or pass it off (say which one you want to do when you send your role in).



Rising:

Role: There’s good news and bad news. The good news is that you are a dog. Due to your keen sense of smell you are the Tracker. Each night you may follow one player and find out who, if anyone, they targeted. The bad news is that you are a dog. You may only woof and bark in your posts though you can vote normally.



Pez:

You win when all threats to the town are defeated.

Bio: With her husband George bedridden shortly after arriving, that left you in charge of looking after your children, all of whom managed to survive the ordeal. As the Third Relief evacuated anyone left at the cabins who could still move by themselves you, despite staying in relatively good shape the entire time, stayed behind with your bedridden husband despite knowing nobody would be coming back anytime soon. By the time the Fourth Relief came around, you had perished (under questionable circumstances), leaving Mr. Keseberg the only one left.

Role: As you showed so much devotion to and would not leave your husband even when it cost you your life, you are the Seraph Knight. At any time during the game you may send me the name of one player: this person cannot die at night so long as you are alive.



McQueen:

Role: You are the Fruit Vendor. Each night you may decide to make a meal for someone. Just tell me what it is and who to give it to.

Bio: A large free-spirited man who hated civilization and the patriarch of the Graves family, you took your family out west to live in the new land. You helped build your family a cabin when you became snowed into the mountains, and when it became clear you’d be stuck for some time, you joined the ‘Forlorn Hope’, a group of mainly adults who were going to try and get help. Unfortunately you died along the way. When you knew you were dying, you urged your daughters and everyone else to eat you.

Role: Because you died, others were able to live. This makes you the Martyr. On any night in the game you can die and bring back someone who was killed.

Role: The Lone Survivor

You win when your faction is the only one remaining.

Bio: Out of all the members of this group, you were the most controversial figure. You kicked an elderly man out of your wagon and left him behind, may have taken part in the murder of Mr. Wolfinger, stole from the dead Donner’s, and may have killed the only other remaining survivor for food. When snowbound you lived with the Murphys and Breens, and an injury kept you from leaving with the First, Second, and Third Reliefs. When the Fourth Relief arrived months later expecting to clean up, they were shocked to find you still alive (along with a suspicious story concerning the death of Mrs. Donner), making you the last Donner Party member to be rescued.

Role: You were an asshole willing to sacrifice others if it meant you would survive. Each night you and your fellow assholes may kill one other player: just give me the name and person you’d like to have commit the kill. Also because you were able to survive so long until you were the only one left at the camp, you cannot be killed so long as you still have a teammate alive. Should you be lynched, however, your role will be posted and you will lose the ability to vote.

Item: You are the holder of the Gavel. Your vote will count for two today. During night either destroy the item or pass it off (say which one you want to do when you send your role in).



KLEEBLATT:

Role: Your cowardly murder has left you feeling guilty and paranoid; now you stay up keeping an eye out on the only men you can trust. Each night you may give me the name of a teammate: this person will be protected from death. However there is a catch: some mysterious force has gained control of you and every even night your role will be controlled by another person until this other person is dead.



DocBlue:

Each night you may sacrifice one player in a Satanic ritual to grant you all immortality. Also it is because of your journal that we know most of what happened at the snowbound camps: because of this you may each night write a note to be left in the night write-up. Finally you hid this pact with Satan so well that if investigated in any way (any role that could give away your alignment), you will show up the same alignment as any other town-aligned player.

Role: Your family was the only one to not suffer any casualties at all. Was it sheer luck, or something more sinister, such as… a pact with Satan? We’ll say it was the latter. A certain sacrifice has given you the ability to control the role of another player. On even-numbered nights, you may redirect the bodyguard role to any player of your choosing.

Item: You are the holder of the Cursed Pendant. It will take one less than majority to lynch you during day. During night you must pass it off (say which one you want to do when you send your role in). This item cannot be destroyed.



That Guy:

Role: Your family was the only one to not suffer any casualties at all. Was it sheer luck, or something more sinister, such as… a pact with Satan? We’ll say it was the latter. Your deal with the devil has granted you incredible powers. You have several 1-shot abilities:
- jailkeep (block and protect the target)
- watch (will see anyone who targets the target)
- vote block (will block someone’s vote from counting the following day)
- item thief (will steal an item from someone if they are holding one)
The roles will reset but you must also take a turn of doing nothing for one night.



Anark:

You’re the second youngest person in the group, the youngest Breen, and an unassuming young child. You are young and inexperienced: however at any time in the game you may take the role of a dead teammate.









Individuals


Sweet n' Sour:

Name: Selim Woodworth
Role: Head Rescuer
Alignment: Individually Aligned

Bio: A naval commander in the Mexican War, you were put in charge of heading the relief effort to save the pioneers trapped in the mountains. However you did an especially shitty job, taking your time in organizing rescue attempts and spent most nights getting drunk in front of the men working under you and even Donner Party members when brought out from the mountains. Most considered you an awful person.

Role: You are the Head Rescuer. You have a job to get done and don’t really care how it’s accomplished. You need to get everyone out of the mountains. One way to do that would be to rescue people yourself, but that’s too much effort. Just waiting for them all to die works too, right? You can give me the name of a person you want to kill each night. You win when everyone left alive has been rescued. Also because you are a military commander you're a tough guy and should anyone try and kill you at night, they will fail.

Item: You are the holder of the Shovel. You may check the role PM of one dead player during night and either destroy the item or pass it off (say which one you want to do when you send your role in). For obvious reasons you do not need to use the Shovel night 1.


* Modnote: You are a lazy drunk. Until or unless you yourself are rescued, your odd-night 'kills' will do nothing. However... you yourself do not need to be 'rescued' so whether you ever realize this or not is up to chance.



Roger Sterling:

Name: Lansford Hastings
Role: The Politician
Alignment: Individually Aligned

Bio: When it comes down to who to blame for this whole tragedy, most will quickly point fingers at you. You were one of the first to head out to this new land of California, and came up with a scheme to overthrow the government there and once free of the US, have yourself declared King of California. For that to go down you needed supporters, and lots of them. In order to promote immigration to California you began to advertise ‘Hastings Cutoff’, a shortcut to get to California as opposed to the normal route, a shortcut which the Donner Party was suckered into taking. That was all well and good… you just forget to mention this ‘shortcut’ involved traveling over a massive desert and several mountains.

Role: Your insane dreams of acquiring divine rights and power are not yet over though, you merely have decided on taking a different route. You win if you survive until the end of the game as well as having more votes on yourself overall than anyone else left, thus making sure you get voted into a position of power. Knowing that there are several surviving members of the party who said they’d kill you if they ever saw you, you are wearing a bulletproof vest and will survive the first attempt on your life during night.

Think it goes without saying that town absolutely dominated. Between Nights 2 and 6 they didn't even lose anyone. Everyone did a pretty great job, I'm not sure who'd be MVP. Titania shot every night and hit killed non-town every night there wasn't a bp vest with the exception of Pez but he was dead that night anyway. IMP made great use of his role and had the mafias kill each other at least once. Evo wasn't alive much but he called out 7 of the 10 mafia members on Day 1 which was pretty hilarious to watch.

Oh and Phenom saved IMP/Titania like 5 times. If you had targeted LC night 1 like you had planned to this could have gone a completely different way.
