I do think it`s protocol as they will be figured out either way and probably rather quickly, especially in my case so I saw no reason to attempt ot hide it.
Power roles? Everyone has a power roles these days so that hardly matters, Ill still be a high priority for the scum team to kill so it`s not like I`m putting these power role players in any danger. And even if I am, I`d rather have myself alive than them as Id probably be more help.
I claimed early as I think double voters/actors should. And no, I wasnt worried I would look scummy, I just ended a process that would have taken a little longer to occur. this question was rather pointless to as it doesn`t accomplish anything; do you really think I would say I`m scared of looking scummy if I was actually scum? that`s just idiotic.
It all depends on how the player votes that decides how quickly they'll be identified as the person with the role. Scum could easily waste kills on these type of roles or rolecops.

Of course I would never expect you to fear me regardless of both of our alignments. I could see you claiming your role early as scum in order to look pro-town and make sure you don't seem like you're hiding anything. I notice you do that as scum. You try hard not to do anything that could possibly be perceived as scummy. Though of course you could be town and be honest with your motives to claim early.
