If I'm going to be night lynched then fine, but I want my Magic appraisal in here before I go. I wanted to wait until day, because I'm sure Magic has influence on the scum kill during night. But here goes anyway.
I’m assuming Magic is red scum (if not a whole new colour as indy) out of the two teams, based off his immediate assault on purple Shep, but I wouldn’t rule out him being purple either.
Hear me out on the possible purple alliance of Magic.
The Shep attack was based off of an early game McLovin mis-read, a guy who was playing his 2nd game.
Maybe the plan was concocted for Magic to blaze in here after replacing in and ‘catch’ scum straightaway. The reason given for him catching Shep certainly looks to me like he has ignored the whole game and simply gone through Shep’s posts looking for something to use as his reason. It’s flimsy at best.
But why sacrifice Shep when he was the JOAT?
He had four actions, three that were repeatable. The best one was used already (poison on CP) and is gone, while lawyer is pretty useless if the other members of your team are a godfather (the GF we caught was red), or maybe even a busdriver (<<remember this busdriver bit), while the framer role is not a great role imo. That leaves the role block as the only really big sacrifice they would be making by sacrificing Shep to make Magic look town.
However, if I understand Shep’s write-up correctly, he could only use it once every three turns. So again, not overly useful.
Here’s Shep’s last post (last paragraph only from a bigger post):

Was this a slip? Accidentally indicating that he was getting too busy to continue playing the game? Is it beyond the two of them to have concocted this whole thing because Shep was going to be busy this week, might even have thought about replacing out, before Magic replaced in and had a better idea?
