The initial case on sterling was awful, but the refusal to claim plus the eventual claim was worse.

I think McQueen used theme knowledge (along with LC) to throw suspicion back on the claim so I think he's probably not aligned with Sterling tbh

McQueeen was post was one of the reason I thought roger was scum as well as Lady croft. Also the not claiming thing helped as well. That and googling the character as well helped.
