In the last game were I was mafia we were so close to getting fitz claim on day1 , in the end he escaped and ended up having caught 2 mafia and so what I am basically saying is people don't like the fact that they are lynched with no reason (which they mostly presume on day1) and will be more reluctant to claim specially when they have a good role or as mafia also
