Blame it on the set up. It's basically a puzzle to figure out the sanity of the cops and get as many different results as possible so we know who to lynch/vig. And today we should be scum hunting. We have 4 suspects and should be voting for one of them.

but via your strategy we won't get as many different results as possible. we get the sanities of the cops by the end of day 2, as opposed to night 2 my way (aka no difference for the town/scumhunting) and your way eliminates a likely townie in teh process.

cop results are easy as hell to fake if you're scum. there's a 1 in 16 chance of faking it wrongly and even then it only means the SK knows you're faking.

actually its less than 1 in 16 b/c you wouldn't do it with your own team mates but the idea remains.

How does copping yourself reveal your sanity? It limits the options from 4 to 2. If you get Innocent on yourself you don't know if you're Sane or Naive. And if you get guilty you don't know if you're insane or paranoid.

fine, how does copping one person, then lynching them reveal your sanity? how does it help any more than this? It doesn't. It gives the same results, and results in the death of a likely townie.

either way, your plan results in the death of someone for no reason other than to narrow down someone's sanity. Its a lazy way to play and isn't scumhunting at all.

Here's the scumhunting. If you're a cop you need to cop both a scum member, and have that scum member die, and someone you know is town (yourself most likely) to determine your sanity. If we can agree on the right target because we think that person is scum every cop will know their sanity by Day 3.

I say we lynch a miller today and Cop n' Kill another one tonight. That gives us good odds to figure out the sanity of every single cop by Day 3.

I'm sorry you think the intelligent way to play this is "lazy." I've probably put more effort into this day 1 then I have in any other game. If we can get all the cops to figure out their sanity by the start of Day 3, we will win the game. That's why I want everyone to cop scum tonight, kill the scum, and then cop themselves. We need to figure out the sanity of our cops. That's the whole point of the set up. Figure them out and you win.
