The only thing we have to go is votes and who jumps on and off wagons. Not lynching someone is the worst thing we can do today because then we basically start day 2 with one less townie and still have nothing. Lynching someone, anyone really is the way to go. I have my own opinions on how scum will react to lynch on someone today but I'm not going to share that idea yet because saying how scum will react before they do something will influence their behavior.

That's a stupid thing for town to say. For that to make any sense then your previous paragraph would have to make no sense.

So you, as town, will "volunteer" to take one for the team? So then Town would start Day two down two Town, right? Didn't you just say you didn't want town starting day two down one town member? If you are indeed town then you don't fucking volunteer to by lynched.

Yes, Magic I know. But if he, as a TOWN player volunteers to be lynched then town starts day two down TWO players instead of one. It's simple math really.

that wasn't his point though...

although volunteering yourself to be lynched kind of takes away the whole point of trying to get reads off of a wagon as town will lynch you just because you asked and scum will jump at the opportunity. unless you were trying to get them to try and jump at the opportunity.

@ LC I think Phitz is saying that he would even be okay with him being lynched if he was a popular option day 1 as long as town learns something from the wagon, not that he should be the one to be lynched.
