It's anti-town when the distraction means the watcher has to watch them every night, while scum goes about unwatched and let's town nitpick over the same claim every day. I agree with stacks. CC'ing on day 2 is pretty wild, kinda reckless. I'd rather the real BG would just be pushing hard on a lynch.

I think town likely has some type of protective role. There's normally a town BG or if not a jailkeeper or something. Without a protective role our power roles, once revealed, will drop like flies and that's terrible. I remember Bourne.

The Watcher doesn't have to be on Flash. If Flash is town, then scum will think the Watcher might be on Flash but it all depends on the Watcher. Plus since I was Watcher last game, I learned that it's not that easy to catch scum with that role. Flash continuing to live won't distract me at all so it better not distract the rest of town. Killing someone just because they'll be a distraction is not something I'm willing to do, esp. given what is at stake. I was reckless last game just lynching people left and right and it turned out really bad for town. I'm not playing like that again.

Do you remember Justified when there wasn't a town BG and town won overwhelmingly?

People who haven't played Pez's mini-mafias just don't get it, apparently. Scum will have safeclaims, including character AND role. As SK in Chrono Trigger I was told there wasn't a Vig, in FFVI there weren't town equivalents to our roles.

Was Justified the game where the two scum groups killed each other off? The only game I remember having no town BG was Bourne. I don't play the mini games.
