Everyone in Santa Barbara had come out for an a cappella performance by Gus and his college singing group mates, Pezley and Shepard. Shawn and Gus were hanging around waiting for the show, with Shawn poking at things he shouldn't be poking when they heard a scream. Everyone ran into the staging area of the showroom to find the two dead bodies of Pezley and Shepard.

Spoiler for Pez & Shep:

Shawn & Gus are resolved to solve this crime, this time on Psych.
