[Several shots of jungles, volcanoes, and wildlife]
DH: This ... is Nicaragua.
[Numerous quick shots of the country]
DH: Situated between the vigorous waters of the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, this harsh landmass thrives on its beautiful rain forests, deadly wildlife, and treacherous volcanoes.
[Shot of a massive volcano erupting]
DH: And it's here where these 18 Wrestling Forum members are about to begin the adventure of a lifetime.
[Shot of a military helicopter / Shot inside the helicopter of DH walking down the middle with people sitting on both sides]
DH: They have randomly been divided into two tribes, each with nine members. They are strangers from different walks of life, forced to work together to create a new society, while battling the elements ... and each other.
[Shots of different players]
DH: They must learn to adapt or they'll be voted from the tribe. But this season, the game's being flipped on its head.
DH: Redemption Island ... a whole new aspect to the game of Survivor.
[The entrance to Redemption Island, with two statues of fierce animal-like figures facing one another]
DH: Now, when players are voted out at Tribal Council, they will not go home.
[Dun dun dun]
DH: Instead, they will go to Redemption Island.
[Shot of the entrance to Redemption Island]
DH: Here, players will live on their own and be forced to survive until the next person joins them on Redemption Island. When this happens, we will have a duel.
[Overhead of Redemption Island Arena]
DH: The winner stays ... the loser is out of the game for good.
[Shot of a jaguar pouncing on its prey]
DH: At a certain point in the game, the remaining person on Redemption Island will re-enter the game and continue their quest for the million dollars.
[Silhoutte of a person carrying a lit torch]
DH: In the end, only one will remain to claim the million dollar prize.
[Shots of Nicaragua & Redemption Island]
DH: 39 days, 18 people ... ONE Survivor!
[The camera pans out to see the helicopter now flying directly over a volcano].
[The helicopter lands as DH climbs out first. The survivors soon follow and stand on their respective mats, based on the colour of buff they've been given to wear]
DH: Welcome to Survivor!
[The castaways cheer]
DH: You're all here right now because you signed up to take place in the greatest adventure game in the history of the internet, and to tell you the truth, this game is going to be no different.
DH: And as you all know, this season, the game introduces a brand new concept ... ... Redemption Island.
[A few claps with closeups of some nervous looks]
DH: And as I'm sure you know, not only will Redemption Island change the structure of the game, it will also change the strategy of the game. How you choose to vote people out of this game will drastically change knowing that same person could come back into the game.
[Some more looks of nervousness]
DH: But enough of that ... let's get this show on the road, shall we?
[Cheers of excitement]
DH: Both tribes are being given a map to their new home, where you will be living potentially for the next thirty-nine days, assuming you go far in this game.
[DH passes out a map to each tribe as he says this]
DH: When you get to your camp, you will find a number of pots for water and cooking, as well as two fishing spears, a machete, and four large bags of rice. I suggest you use these supplies cautiously, because running out of food could be dangerous. Oh, and the water from your well is poisonous, so please make sure you boil it first to avoid, y'know ... dying.
[Shot of Pez gulping in fear]
DH: So in other words, make sure you've got your head on straight, both survival-wise and game-wise, because if you don't, you're not gonna last too long ... Anyway, both tribes now have maps to their camps, so I suggest you head on out and get there and get camp set up right away before it rains on you, because trust me, when it rains ... it pours. I'll be seeing you all in a few days. Good luck!
[The two tribes head off in separate directions as they begin the journey to their respective camps]
Note: You don't have to do anything to get to your camp/beach. It's just assumed that you get there.
Note 2: Post #2 will be updated with current day + tribes.
Note 3: Not sure when Day 2 will begin. Probably soon-ish, but I just wanted to get the game started. Day 2 is just a relaxing day anyway so it won't last overly long.
