There will be no/limited mention of any flavour from the roles so those of us who watch football can pick up on players who are unlikely to be in the game/match up with a role.

The characters don't fit the roles like a glove though. In the role PMs though I've put tenous links to how the roles fit that character. Some links are more obvious than others, but I don't think there is any role for any player in the game that you could outright say doesn't fit a particular character. In fact when I was drafting the characters with the roles beforehand, I initially had van Persie as a power role, but I changed it as I thought it would be too obvious as everyone in the footy threads know he's my favourite player.

If you were allowed to post the tenous links in the claims as Rising did, I think it becomes too obvious what roles are legit and not, particularly for to those who post in the football threads here.
