i used to love big brother. the game has to be just as fixed as the show though. well the us version is fixed to a degree.

Big Brother could be really, really good if ran properly, it would make a really nice change from the standard mafia set-up, although Survivor seems equally as fun =)

The latest UK series seemed a bit fixed. Well they weren't really successful because the winner was someone the producers seemed to be not so keen on. They did do their best to keep this guy who was 'bringing ratings' in for longer as well. Maybe fixed is a strong word, more just trying to influence/control the show too much.

i've seen people be dead set on doing something. then they come out their diary room sessions and their whole perception of the game changes. if your a big personality then big brother will bend the rules or try to steer people away from you. it happened twice with the last winner here.

the influence was strong in the last season in the us. i stopped watching the show over it combined with the fact that returning houseguest had made the season boring to being with. i like the cast being all new.
