24 Mafia Game
Well, here it is. Gotta get the boring stuff out of the way first. Plz read it:
Basic Rules
Please stay active, if you're not, i'll punt you out and replace you. If you don't post for a few days, I might have to get rid of you. Keep the thread active, bluff, help solve clues, do whatever you want. The head of the Terrorists is The Godfather, who cannot be investigated or detected. Those who aren’t active will be asked to be active, and if not, replaced. I don’t intend to give characters a second chance, unless you are killed on the first or second day, don’t expect to replace someone who is inactive, I’ll find someone completely new. Those who are killed on the first and second days can be a reserve if you want. I'm sure there will be a few people inactive. Also, for newer players, don’t for Christ sake reveal in the thread if you’re mafia.
I would also like to say that you cannot offer or put your points on the line as a bargaining chip, punishments will be handed out if you do so. Also, no rep begging. This is a mafia game, not a rep thread. I’ll probably rep people in here if they play well, but I’ll red rep you if you rep beg. If you rep beg once, you’ll be warned. If you do it twice, you will be replaced. These things may seem obvious, but I’m putting them down just as a clarification. Absolutely no screenshots in the threads or via PM’s, it ruins the competitiveness of the game. I won’t be running this game with a tight leash and will let it flow, but please don’t break the rules, it could ruin the game.
Roles and Characters
Speaking of roles, they will be completely randomized. No favouritism shown by me (as I’m casting), just like in the last game, where despite being good friends with MetalX and being a pretty good game player, I ended up with a crappy role. Please use your roles and night abilities by PM’ing myself at night. There are some roles from previous games, some new ones, and a couple I made up. Some of the roles are pretty orgasmic, and some are disadvantageous. Role revealing is stupid unless you’re desperate, but it is allowed, with the exception of kill roles, which cannot be revealed. If you do reveal a kill role, or even lie about having one, you will be mod killed instantly. If you have a kill role (if you’re unsure if you’ve got one or not, PM me) and you have to reveal your role for the sake of it, just make one up.
Any other roles are allowed to be revealed at your peril. I recommend you don’t do so unless it is pivotal to your own survival. The same applies to talking to people about the game outside the thread. I know people will do it, it’s happened in every single game, but I don't want it tbh. If I catch you or here about it though, tough shit, you’ll be out of the game. One last thing, you cannot reveal what character you are at any stage. Revealing your role is allowed (barring kill roles), but revealing your character isn’t. There will be some clues in each night posts, there may or may not be red herrings.
