I really hope Klee didn't opt to go the multiple faction route in his first game. I really do. Like I said from the OP it seems that the Charming alignment would encompass various factions in the show.
Frakkles' responses look good to me. Like he's trying to move us away from fluff. He also placed an actual vote on Pez based on stuff in the thread, and not just for shits and giggles. Felt like a Town approach.
numbers? we talking about numbers? numbers talk should be dealt with early. it's town's best interest that everyone has an idea of a split asap. numbers talk only bothers me when it comes from competent players who binge on it and various topics that relevance are closer to a generic framework of a general game than the game at hand and the play within said game.
the later split talk happens the larger the liability it becomes. now players may use split talk to mask their inability to fake conversation, but since we're already talking about numbers those players will adjust.
delaying talk about splits seems like a bad idea. the later you talk about it, the less space you have. space is important because players operate better with more space, when an area is cluttered people start to panic, they aren't as efficient. it's a mental thing, by creating the split talk, maybe players feel they're ahead and have more room and that allows them to play better. in my experience when town doesn't have a idea of how many scum exist they play bad.
