Cos you really think the rabid Shanna fans, or even some of the other lesser-known contestants, didn't do the same thing, and voted with multiple accounts ? Heck, even in the diva-dirt article's comments, people are saying that they did it too, in order to vote for all the girls, and give them an advantage.
Considering all the problems they've had ever since they started it, this might be the only time TNA does something like this since people have been making multiple accounts and voting dozens if not hundreds of times.
The average amount of votes per bracket was about four hundred or so. Considering this one had over six thousand votes cast that's pretty good. If they made mention of it on TV or posted a video on youtube telling people to go to the site and vote they would've gotten more.
Yeah, that's about it. For all the noise people make on the web, for the thousands and thousands of followers some have claimed, the fact that only 6300 people have bothered voting really means that unknowns don't draw outside of their fanbase. And that TNA should have promoted it more, but given the pain in the rear that Challenge was from a logistics perspective (re:cheating, and such), I can see why they didn't.
Yeah, I was a brother on the streets of Compton doing a lot of things most people look down on but it did pay off. Then we started rapping about real stuff that shook up the LAPD and the FBI. But we got our message across big time, and everyone in America started paying attention to the boys in the hood..
