Hello

Ive always been a solely a WWE watching type of guy. apart from during the AE, when i watched ECW/WCW, but last night a mate of mine showed me Turning Point 2012, and i was really impressed.

I want to start watching some TNA PPV's, so what should i watch? Just got hold of a copy of Bound for Glory 2011, which im watching now, any suggestions?

Sacrifice was pretty good too, it was the beginning of aries heavyweight career in TNA.

Congratulations my friend, started watching the best year you could. Shame not a few months earlier though. :)

I also exclusively watched the WWE for a long time, discovered TNA in 07 and didn't regret it at all. Pop in the DVD/Match discussion thread and I'm sure the people in there will kindly name some very good matches for you.

To clear it up, Hardy made his own world title and Austin Aries stole the old title from him, so they held them both up on the ladder. See Razor Ramon vs Shawn Michaels for the double IC strap on the ladder to clear it up more.

Thanks to both of you for the replies (you and the guy above).

The Razor/Michaels example makes sense to me, its my era!!

(Well actually, Wrestlemania 3 is my era, god i feel old :D)

One of the mods should make an official sticky thread for people who are jumping the boat and watching TNA, too many people creating threads about where to start and all getting the same answers.

Hardy and Hogan, IMO, are currently the two things that are holding TNA behind WWE.

TNA's roster is so much better right now.

In terms of matches, this is often regarded as one of the best ever - AJ vs Joe vs Daniels, Turning Point 2005.

But there was another thread a few months ago that listed loads of great matches - the mods should sticky it. As a relatively new viewer myself, there were some unbelievable matches posted on there. Worth searching for. And yes - Slammiversary 2012 was fantastic.

Thanks for all the replies, helpful lot you are :D

Really liked the look of Roode, The Guererro tag champs. Also you have three of my fav's in Angle, Sting and a new looking (to me anyway) Hardy. Seems weird to me watching him as a main eventer and world champion (i was on a break from WWE when he was champ there).

I have another stupid question though, im just watching the end of Turning Point 2012 before i move on to your suggestions, why is there two title belts hanging above the ring in this Hardy/Aries ladder match?
Obviously i know why we have two World titles in WWE, but i assumed there would be just one in TNA??

There's still really one World Title. Once Hardy became champion at Bound For Glory 2012 he debuted a custom belt with his face on it, while also keeping the normal gold TNA title too. I'm trying to think of examples of this in the past but my memory's kinda fuzzy.

So Hardy's belt kinda means nothing as a championship but he wears it anyway and for now TNA accept it as a co-title of sorts.

Hardy being awkward essentially. :lol
