event was really, really good. not a bad match in sight, storm/roode was brilliant, 3 way tag match had some great spots (end sucked), even rvd/zema was good after some great zema stuff. jeff going over was the right thing to do, what's the point of building the bfg series for so long only to have the guy, who won it with 1 shoulder and taking a million finishers, lose at the big dance?

some people, i swear...
I'm pretty sure Devon said, or implied, that he was the leader. I could be wrong.

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread

I thought the big reveal was going to be Eric Bischoff or Jeff Jarrett, but I'm kinda glad it wasn't either of them. Devon? Interesting. Well, TNA gave Bully Ray a chance to shine as an individual, and that worked out great. Let's see what Devon can do. I have a feeling he's going to surprise a lot of people. He's good on the mic when given the opportunity. Remember his heart-to-heart with Jeff Hardy?

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread

Main event was pretty enjoyable. Although i felt it was kinda missing something, seeing as this was the biggest PPV of the year. Something to take it from good to something truly epic

feud coulda benefited from more build or intensity,so next year they should get to work on setting up the challenger for the title earlier. otherwise no problem with it

No prob with any of that at all. Props for being honest. I actually really liked that match too. I like Cena/Lesnar a whole helluva lot too & think it's still in my top 5 for the year.

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread

I think Hardy had to win to cement the importance of winning the BFG Series, he just flat out didn't deserve it. Have I forgiven him for what happened? Absolutely. But that doesn't take away everyone else who never did, who work very hard to get where they are. Storm/Roode/Aries Triple Threat should of been the Main Event as it seemed like it was heading that way before they just scrapped it and went Hardy/Aries.

Hardy/Aries was a great match. I'm not attempting to take anything away from it. It's just that the build was put into Aces and Eights and aside from the Devon Reveal, nothing happened. This was their biggest show of the year with a hot angle going and they didn't do too much with it. Not a smart move considering the time they invested.

They went for shock value instead of doing the right thing by having bully turn on sting. I saw this shit happening when countless trolls were bitching about "being too obvious", now you got fucking devon... are you happy?

The reason why we don't get fresh ideas and promotions rising in American Pro Wrestling is because the majority of the community is happy with the same old shit and will reject any chance of change. There is a risk in doing new things, 9 times out of 10, it leads to 50+ pages of bitching and moaning. While business gets turned into a dictatorship and more and more out of touch. Support the indies, support New Pro Wrestling.

Re: Bound For Glory Discussion Thread

Devon and Morgan were both thought to be gone from TNA. We were surprised by Morgan still be in TNA and tonight we were shocked to see Devon still here. Any person who has been let go could actually make a big return, Right now we don't know whose really gone from TNA and who is playing out this angle. Serious unpredicability brought back into wrestling is always a good thing.

The Tara storyline was a short storyline to introduce one of the bigger OVW prospects, a guy known for his work on the popular reality show Big Brother. Why would anyone expect a huge reveal of some wrestler as Tara's bf. He you really wanted Morrison to debut in this role you really don't know anything about wrestling booking.

This is there big PPV and they put the belt on there biggest face who sells the most merch and is extremely well known and let one of there hot prospects who just not to long ago was starting his x_division run be able to grow into a major heel and stay a big player from here.

All this whining is pathetic. Think beyond the 5 seconds after something happens.

you are a dumbass. *sigh*
I'm not saying bring back the AE... I'm saying stop trying to do cookie cutter hogan style faces. THEY DON"T WORK! The reason Hardy was being booed tonight wasn't because of smarks... hell, Jeff has always been high on my list. He was booed because everyone saw it coming... the superbaby face competing against the odds to earn redemption. And then he gets dominated near the end and suddenly he kicks out and goes on a tear.

Hardy winning would have been fine, but how he won is the issue. Don't expect you to understand though, apparently you thinkg shit booking is actually decent

Thanks for the wonderful memories Ultimate Warrior... happy you got to be recognised as the legend you are before you went. Rest in peace

they had to reveal the inside man. everyone thought it would be bully, no? you don;t reveal your leader now and end the storyline. it doesn't matter what show it is, storyline progression is the main factor in this. devon is a great choice for the inside man, links back well to bully and continues the feud along with something that makes sense. to be complaining about this is just ridiculous. tna have made a good call.

Well, Roode's embargo on the world championship is now over so perhaps he'll re-enter that picture.
