Spike TV will present a new one-hour special, “Countdown to Bound For Glory,” on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 7:00pm ET/4:00pm PT that will provide an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at TNA’s biggest and most star-studded event of the year.
The countdown to BFG show has the whole Sunday Night Heat feel to it. I know WWE has the preshow still, but that's on youtube(and only like 20 or so mins).
It's been YEARS since I've seen a PPV preshow on TV(not including UFC prelims)
The only match that needs to go over 20 min is the Street Fight. Aries and Hardy should go 17-18 max, with Aries structuring and calling the action and the story.
See I don't think you can do the Roode/storm match, the tag, and the main event all back to back. The street fight should be in the 1st half of the show so the crowd doesn't get burnt for the main event. No matter how you slice it, Roode and storm is the blood feud and will almost certainly steal the show with the level of violence to be expected.
Eh, I figure the Aces tag & Storm/Roode will both have a lot of brawling, maybe even brawling in the crowd, so I don't think it'll kill the crowd. ECW used to do that all the time too.
I'm not betting against Austin Aries & Jeff Hardy. It's like people forgot recently how good Aries can be & how great a face-in-peril Hardy is. I know there's a lot of love for Roode/Storm & even Joe/Magnus, but I'm going with Aries/Hardy still. I don't think Aries will let anyone upstage him. I watched him in ROH, I know what he's capable of.
I do think that Snow/Ryan will surprise some people though.
I've got my jager and red bull, a bag of chilli heatwave doritos and a pizza for later.
All I need now is to find a Spike stream for the pre-show and it's all good.
Enjoy the show guys.
