Jeff Jarrett is teasing a big name to appear at the July 2nd Impact Wrestling Slammiversary pay-per-view from Orlando.
No word yet on who the "most powerful, influential resident of Orlando" is but we will keep you updated. Jarrett wrote the following today on Twitter/TMI.me:
"Slammiversary week just got even bigger...more details coming...very, very special guest is coming... #Slamm15! @IMPACTWRESTLING @GFWWrestling"
"For the very first time the most powerful, influential resident of Orlando, Florida has confirmed that he will attend Slammiversary week @UniversalORL and participate in the Impact Zone for @IMPACTWRESTLING and @GFWWrestling ! #Slamm15! #Honored"

i agree but its not as bad as wwe just straight up telling you whats happening before hand just to get more viewers.
I miss the days when surprises just straight up happened and noone saw it coming. But those are the days of high fan volume compared to today.Market is growing again though
He was first one I thought of due to Orlando connection. Actually it would be pretty funny if he did show up seeing the talk of him being at this year's WM.
Speaking of funny, I of course was joking about Mr. Mouse but it would be interesting if he did show up. Because if it was just a guy in a suit it would be a waste of money, they would have to pay Disney for copyright use, just for a joke. However if a guy in the suit was there AND he was due to some working deal between Impact/Anthem and the Disney Corp. that would be HUGE. Not going to happen I think but I could see a small chance. If Disney had been trying to buy WWE or at least into the company on a majority level and were upset they could not some upper management might get mad and decide to buy or work with the competition. Not likely but possible.
I know where you are going with this but I am sorry, no, I will not streak thru the Zone and into the ring. :hmmm Well...MAYBE during the Rosemary/Sienna match.
Whatever they do, it needs to be meaningful and relevant.
This show has to be a home run with some significant happenings. And I don't just mean Alberto winning the title, they need some excitement around the product.
Cause even now with some improvements there still isn't anything to really be amped for on the horizon. Jarrett keeps talking about this exciting new direction with all of these partners and I know it takes time but they need to show something cause there is 0 buzz around this product right now.
Personally I would rather go without Shaq, but as long as they're not spending too much money on him it might be a good thing considering his appearance in the Andre the Giant Battle Royale last year got some mainstream publicity.
Well, it's someone who never been in TNA before right or at least Slammiversary as it says.

So, I'm going to take it as someone who's not been there before SO, who could it possibly be?
Even tho he lives in Tampa, knowing TNA it's going to end up being Jack Swagger lol.
Soon as I read this I had a feeling it was gonna be Schwarzenegger, but I don't think he lives in Orlando. Also, I suspect he's above appearing on Impact.
