In an interview with Title Match Wrestling, Aron Rex confirmed that he was no longer with Impact Wrestling. He also hinted that he may be done with the business. You can watch the video below:

WrestleCon is once a year anyway, so he wasn't talking about just WrestleCon. Does this mean this was his last appearance of the year in wrestling as a whole?
Not surprised or sad. He just wasn't very good. Its ba shame because he showed potential in WWE, but with free reign in TNA he was just so unremarkable in every way.
Well he says "scheduled" and it might be he means at signings. Depending on how much he is being paid I have no problem with him staying on Impact. Long as he is ok with being an entertainer who only wins in once in a blue moon. Impact needs a couple enhancement wrestlers to help get wins for the top guys.
Rex was hugely disappointed in Impact after he showed potential in WWE. With Rex, he does extremely well under a gimmick like we've seen with Mizdow, Savior and recent Liberace had fun potential but gimmicks like those dont scream main event talent. When he came in fresh with no gimmick and stripped back to a wrestler, he showed alot of flaws.
Rex's best work was Intellectual Saviour, in my opinion, which could of also worked as a manager and tag team. Rex with Eli could of worked for a short period until Eli got a singles push.
I like the dude as long as he has a character. Face CAW Rex that arrived in IW was bland as. I'd prefer he stay, but him leaving wouldn't hurt anything.
'Is Damien Sandow (Aron Rex) finished with wrestling? Sandow (real name Aaron Stevens) made a bombshell announcement in this Title Match Wrestling exclusive from Wrestlecon weekend in Orlando. Host Rich Palladino got the scoop when his good friend Damien Sandow (who just wrapped with TNA Wrestling as Aron Rex) made his announcement about his possible retirement.'
Quite disappointed to hear this. I was happy to see him get a chance in IW, but he's the type of dude who only fires on all cylinders when he has a gimmick. While his Liberace gimmick wasn't my ideal choice for him, it was still pretty enjoyable, especially in comparison to how plain Jane he was when he debuted.
His flamboyant gimmick with Rockstar Spud as his valet hadn't played out for very long. I'm not exactly sure where Impact creative was headed with things anyway, so it's probably best that Impact and Aron Rex parted ways.
Well he has talent just not sure if he has enough inside the ring. If acting does not work out for him I could see him as a manager or maybe even doing color. He might be a nice change of pace on Impact's commentating crew.
Good, I hope he resigns with the wwe. He could be a decent addition to the mid card scene on SDL as the intellectual savior of the masses. Plus i need him rapping on up up down down he was the goat there lol even drew a tear drop on his eye and wore a beanie.
His TNA run was a lot like his WWE career - 1st half was the pits (Idol Stevens) and the 2nd half was much better character-heavy stuff.
